I'm not really a collector of anything in particular, I don't cosplay (I would like to, but I'm far too round) I go because I like to meet guests associated with things I love. Which is pretty much anything to do with Doctor Who. I also love James Bond, although I prefer the novels to the films. The other draw is that you can get some pretty sick Godzilla stuff there. I freakin' love Godzilla.

Doctor Who. I like Torchwood, but the first season in particular seems to be 13 episodes of shoving the fact it's post-Watershed down out throat. Especially episode 2... urgh.

I'm happy for the same reason. An unknown. No preconceptions. Concerned about the age thing? Not really. Moffat made it clear he didn't cast Matt Smith because of his age, but rather because he liked what he saw acting wise. That gives me faith.

Were you part of the 11 o'clock onward crowd? I paid the extra for the 9am entry, but at about quarter to eleven I went for a wander to Waterstones (I had reserved a hard-to-find book there) and the queue was all the way from the Arena to Waterstones itself. It was nuts.

You're Bat Suit was amazing dude. I agree with everything you said about the atmosphere, it was my first convention ever and now I can't wait till December, just to be there again.
