Yeah, I have which is why I know it'll be great once I'm actually there, but just jiggling costs before I get there was sort of souring my mood. But I am looking forward to the gold pass reception so I'm sure it'll all pay for itself once I'm actually at the con!

This isnt included in with gold tickets normally. Gold and silver get the group shot OF the guests included in their ticket. This is an extra option Right. I was just wondering because I have a gold ticket and although I know it's going to be a good con, because ME/SM ones usually are, I'm kind of wishing I'd just bought a standard ticket now just with what Gold are getting vs the ticket prices. But fair enough. Thanks for the speedy reply.

Awesome news, I can actually come now I was a bit gutted with the initial dates as I'd have been in Vancouver during this con and felt a bit bad not to be supporting the Glasgow con when I live just outside the city! So... any chance of some guest announcements then? ::cheeky::

I'm like 90% sure this isn't in the least bit true. Not only because it'd be very silly of them to have signed exclusivity agreements (unless they're getting s***loads for it, of course) but also from hearsay at events run by this other company that they were unlikely to be getting J2 back to their cons through disagreements/etc. But again, as with everything, hearsay/rumours can't really be trusted so we'll just have to have faith that showmaster/massive events are going to be super awesome and bag us at least one of the boys ;D

You guys really do own my soul! I had a bad experiance with another company who run an SPN con in this country and vowed never to attend another one by them again. So I've been dying for SM/ME to do one for ages now because I trust you guys to deliver not only what you advertise but also an extremely high level of care and concern for both your guests and atendees. I'm in favour of both the mentioned "Twisted Fairytales" and "Labyrinth"/Masked Ball themed parties, they sound like they'd be well class and could inspire some pretty awesome outfits!

Throwing in my vote for the Tourist Office/Infomation Centre. But also, I like the idea someone had about the cells- esp with the ability to get photos with life-size Weevils and Blowfish XD

In all reality I'll not even think about booking my travel till Feb at the earliest as I'll probably not have the money again until then, thanks to the first hub and christmas! Are you going to robin hood by any chance? XD

I'll look into that then nearer the time then. Could be fun to take the train this time- less drama than having to go through the check in at the airport, and the idea of being able to bring my laptop is seriously tempting! heh XD where are you travelling from exactly, if I may ask? I'll be leaving from Glasgow myself.

Umm... roughly speaking, the return flight cost around £60, and the return coach to/from Luton-Nothhampton cost around £20. So that's roughly £80 travel. Cheaper and faster than any of the trains I managed to suss anyway! X) I managed to get a return for about £37 by train last time. Takes longer but was the cheapest method I found of doing it. You can't book trains more that about 12 weeks in advance so start looking at the end of december for good deals! Woah, seriously? That's awesome. Who did you book through, how long did it roughly take, and do you know how many changes there were? X) anything to save the pennies! hehe
