Ian Holm, Tom Skerritt, Harry Dean Stanton

Agree this is a really good call. None of them are getting any younger and Angela Cartwright already does the signing circuit. Would definitely grab all their autos if they were there and know a lot of people that feel the same... -
Anyone know what the Lord of the Rings orc ears sold for?

BILL NIGHY: Are you happy with the BIG announcement?
NorvilleBarnes replied to nicky's topic in London Film & Comic Con
Hmmmm....what an odd reaction from a lot of people. And to start a thread asking if people believe the term BIG ANNOUNCEMENT was an appropriate one. Do people really worry about the wording of such things? He is a big guest. Full stop. If you don't know or like the guy as a guest, that's not because he's not big, it's simply because you don't know him or don't appreciate what he's been in as much as others do. I personally feel that way about many of the Star Trek and Buffy guests, but that's not to say many out there don't think they're great, worth meeting and would consider them a big announcement. I personally think he's an awesome guest. I mean, come on - one of the main characters from Pirates of the Caribbean 2 & 3, PLUS a major character in Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz AND Underworld / Underworld: Evolution. I'm all for him and I think this thread is daft. Why would people not be happy with him? If you don't want to meet him, you simply don't have to. -
Lance Henriksen - what did you talk about?
NorvilleBarnes replied to nicky's topic in Collectormania MK
Having been to a few of these events, the two people who I've talked to the most were Elijah Wood (after asking him to sign a continuity polaroid of himself from "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" - he couldn't believe someone had one!), but the other was Lance. I asked him to sign my production script from "The Quick and the Dead", and on seeing it, his eyes lit up and he said what a great time he'd had making it. He tried to remember a couple of his lines from one of his scenes with Sharon Stone but in the end had to give up and look through the script. He added that Sam Raimi was a pleasure to be directed by and ended the meeting by signing with both his name and his characters; Ace Hanlon. A pleasure to meet and a very friendly person. I honestly think he would have talked for a lot longer had there not been more people behind me. Cheers! NB -

Hey Showmasters. Thirteen pages can't be wrong! A lot of people want to see Clancy at one of your events, so if you're not already doing it, get on the phone to his agent or better still - tell them to look at this page! If that doesn't clinch the deal, I don't know what will? Maybe tell them Christopher Lambert will turn up at their office with a sword and will personally cut them an new 'Highland Hole'! Cheers, G
