  1. 100% agree any of the main cast would be amazing please Yeah would be happy with any of the cast but if the Gube was to come I would explode with joy.
  2. Probaly not going to happen but Criminal minds please please please.
  3. £16.50?.....Think it costs about the same amount to go absolutely nowhere for 10 hours if you park a car at the venue! 10 hours (probably most of it on the motorway, I don't envy you at all, but considering the distance and time, it's not a bad price. A bus where i live is £2 for a 3 mile trip! lol yeah same here so it is good when I think about it. I think the drivers have to have a break evry 4hours so probaly a hour and a half of that will be a break. If you want to get from Glasgow to London you can do so in less than two hours by flying. less than 45 minutes in the air. I recognize it might cost a bit more, but if you want ultra-ultra-frugality (as a lot of people here do) then you have to make sacrifices, and in this case it's the 10 hour transit time. Apart from any other concerns, this guy is never going to go above 45MPH, because he will have been instructed to keep the MPG as high as humanly possible. I know some people are going to mention the fact that you can fly to Milan for a tenner, and yes at least notionally that may be true (although you tot up all the ancillary expenses and tell me it's a tenner). But you make sacrifices there too. You have to fly out of a non-central airport. You fly *in* to a non-central airport. You don't have a reserved seat. There's no food. The staff don't give a toss about you. The toilet costs £1. And so on. If you want ultra-frugality you have to make sacrifices. Not having a go at you, but I get quite annoyed with the general public view that airlines etc. need to embrace 'green' approaches, minimize their carbon footprint, etc. - and yet that same general public aren't prepared to spend more than a tenner to fly halfway across Europe. Really annoys me. The 10 hours doesnt realy bother me if I have a good book:) And it is a saving of about £50/£60 then you have taxi to airport and the 2 hour bus journy into London if you are lucky. I remember leaving London last year about 2pm and we didn't get home until midnight because between the traffic and the flight being put back about a hour. Im just happy between the hotel and travel I'm only £76. Means I have alot more for autographs and what not now:)

  5. Good, that's where we're staying too :-) It's basic but good for the price. Last year when we had 4 bedded we had 2 bed rooms with tv/dvd, bath room and tiny tiny kitchen. THere was a mess up with our friends room because they over booked but they admited it and paid for them to stay in an other hotel.
  6. Just saw Joe Flanigan is going to MK, have no idea why people say Brehead is hard to get to. Have they tryed finding a way to MK that doeasnt cost a arm a leg and your first born? Ok we are talking a couple of £100 but still... So yeah Joe Flanigan please:)
  7. Bus all booked £16.50 return from Glasgow. Just don't know what I am going to do for 10 hours on a bus. It's mad when you think about it. Ive gone to Egypt and it 6 hours and its going to take me longer to travel down to London.
  8. I cannot wait:) Will be keeping a eye on the shop for his photo shoot.
  9. I booked a 6 bedded room at the Boka, it is just round the corner and works out £60 each for the weekend. I stayed in it last year so would recomend it.
  10. I think Supernatural guests is to big but I can hope can't I? Any Doctor Who or Torchwood Guests would make me happy:)

  15. Dont know if I am being daft but can't see Chris Judge, does any one even know what prices he has been at other events? Can't wait for this but looks like not going to be as a mad rush as it was last year cause really do need to budget this year. Never mind just realised my mistake, just saw him posted in this con and got confused:( No way no how can make November.
  16. I really hope you guys are still coming I get film cells evry year :) Was hoping for Iron Man this year. Sucks about date being changed if it means certain stalls and people who have to travel can't make it now. It's never happened to me yet (keeps finger crossed)
  17. Not a big deal for me, good things friends havnt planned on coming up from England :)
  18. The only White hole I know is sort of the opisite of a black hole, instead of attracting matter they eject it.
  19. Got to admit untill the 1st Glasgow collecto I was some one who thought cosplay was all manga all the time:) Was confused when dude dressed as Ten showed up lol The compromise sounds like a great idea:) Props seem to really populer how about home made props? ( I like getting the glitter glue out:) Doesnt need to be competition just a display of different things people have made. Not sure how it would work exactly but just a sort of idea
  20. I loved Robert Picardo last year, he made my day:) I couldn't stop grinning when I met him, he asked how could I posibly be happy when the world was ina economic crisis, I just grinned harder. I would always think he was main charactor in STV. More things to do would be good, at LFCC I loved the drawing area but space would probaly be a problem. I remember there being props last year that was fun:)
  21. Any one else heard about the rip off of Repo? Repo Men, set in the future were you can buy new organs and if you can't pay them back they come get them back. The only thing that is missing is the music. Saw posters in cinie world up town I hope it gets stopped but it is a big movie with Jude law in it but can only hope. This is sort of film I think I would like but it just sounds a bit to much like RGO for my liking. Geuss all ideas have got to come from some were hhhmmm
