  1. I'm saying though that SM could make a load of extra money. Extra money = can pay extra staff. So, if it's very busy, then that's great as that's even more money.
  2. Wedding photographers traditionally did this because then they could make some extra coin from selling you more copies. How many extra copies have the photographers that SM hired ever sold? It's not where their income is from this gig. You just need to adjust your contract with your photographer. Tell them you want the customers to have the copyright or someone else will get the business. There are plenty of great photographers out there who would do it and not give two hoots about ridiculous copyright issues. Other places I've had my photo taken for similar stuff have offered to burn the image onto CD and charged some extra money. I'm fine with this. It's a way that SM could make a ton of extra cash if this was offered.
  3. The biggest problem we had was with Jewel Staite. We came back specially on the Sunday to get our photos with Jewel, only to find she'd been moved from 12:00 to 14:50. She'd had to swap with some other guy. If the other dude can't make his photo shoot, then in my opinion it should be tough ****. Don't make commitments you can't stick to. I wonder how many people turned up after 12:00 to get their photo with that guy only to find out he'd already done his shoot? You can't just change times of things like this - our whole day was originally planned around Jewel being at 12:00 and it screwed up all our plans and meant we couldn't spend the rest of the day in the city. -- Scott Bakula talk - the seating was a disaster! The seat numbers were totally randomised - we got in the queue early so we managed to find our seats eventually, but after a while they pretty much announced you could sit anywhere to try and get people sat down, which then caused fights because people found their seat numbers, only to find someone else sat in them who refused to move! -- We had a problem with Paul McGann too. On the Sunday we really, really needed to get out of there to get a train. We got there just as they closed his queue so he could go to his photoshoot. We were told to come back in 30 mins or so. We walked away for a couple of mins, came back and they'd added a load more people to his queue!! Of course, we weren't allowed to join as the queue was "closed" again.
  4. No worries, I understand. I'm tempted to take a risk on it anyway. If it was before 3pm then we could just about make it to Heathrow I think.
  5. I see Jewel is only doing photo shoot on the Sunday. Do we know what time her photo shoot would be? My fiancée has to be at Heathrow by 4pm to fly back to the USA as she has work the next day - this was the furthest we could push it and we were hoping to get all the photos and autos we wanted on Saturday, but we'll both come again on Sunday to get a photo with Jewel if we know what time her shoot is!
  6. For any future BTTF guests, please just PM me on here and I will happily supply you with any images you need. I have pretty much every original official press photo that was issued for all 3 films, plus original press slides. I also have a colour-calibrated pro scanning workflow set up here - I can get you them at 600dpi, no problems.
  7. It'd be great if we could just get a code or something and pick up the photos from a web site. I'm really not that fussed about having them printed out - I only scan them back in again when I get home always - and that's a lossy process when they were taken by a digital camera in the first place!
  8. My girlfriend and I spent: Train - £60 Hotel - £115 Photo shoot - £40 Talk - £40 Autos - £135 Merchandise ~ £50 But, being in London also meant we could go see WALL-E at the awesome digital screen at Empire in Leicester Square, which was great :)
  9. I have 3 original UK quads of BTTF I, II, III which I had Lea Thompson sign at Collectormania. Got Charles Fleischer to sign Part II poster too - as he played Terry in that movie. Going to get Chris to sign all 3 too. MJF is certainly a very hard one to get, but not impossible. It'll probably be the last one I get to complete these!
  10. Isn't that the same museum that has a BTTF DeLorean? It's not one of the screen-used ones though, it's an official replica made by Jay Ohrburg. His replicas aren't very accurate though
  11. Whose DeLorean replica is it? There aren't many DeLorean Time Machine replicas in the UK, and only one of them is reasonably accurate. Sadly, there aren't even any DeLorean Time Machines from the original films that are still in accurate screen-used condition. Universal let them either rot, or get damaged/modified to the point where they are a shadow of their former selves.
  12. Any idea what convention he went to a couple of weeks ago? My mate got upgraded to 1st Class on the way back from Los Angeles to Heathrow on Virgin and was sat next to him the whole way over. He said he was on his way to a convention. Actually he said he was waiting for some filming to start since the writer's strike knocked his schedule off and his wife told him to "Stop being lazy and go earn some money" LOL. I guess he could have been changing at Heathrow to go somewhere else in Europe though...
  13. Lea Thompson: "Take good care in the future!"
  14. My girlfriend and I met Charles first and got him to personalise our BTTF2 poster. He was lovely and seemed very surprised that someone remembered him from BTTF. His autograph is fantastic. Later we met Lea who was fabulous (and still very hot) and got her to personalise our BTTF1, 2 & 3 posters. We had a photo together with her later too. Funniest moment was when my girlfriend was queueing for a photo with James Marsters and someone who was with James said to the crew "I don't know how you want to word this, but can you please tell people not to grab James' ass". LOL
