  1. I just got batch 1 (of 8, I think) for the TARDIS shoot. Plenty available.
  2. Is there any chance he'd be added to the DW group shot? It would be pricey, but epic.
  3. (I'm on it. Took me an embarrassingly long time to find the sales desk. I asked a blue shirted crew member where it was and she didn't know.) So, they said... Basically, they said why are you waiting in the queue, it will go back to your card. (I guess this thread updated with that info while i was waiting at the refund desk.)
  4. (On the plus side, my green shirt is again an option for tomorrow.)
  5. Poop. Was hoping to avoid the sales desk. (Someone on FB said the AM shoot didn't happen, so was moved to the afternoon at the expense of the Green Screen. I don't know if this is true. I'm not sure it is, as it would not explain why the green screen was lost tomorrow.) Online is still selling the regular shoot both days. Unless that's a mistake, I imagine you could just BUY the regular shoot and get your refund of the Green Screen at the sales desk.
  6. Sorry. Every time I see this post title, I keep thinking, "I don't care what orientation the photos have. They can love who they love."
  7. Blissfully slept in this morning. (Which is fine as I don't have anything except a talk late this afternoon.) Query: Will there be two different queues for admission this afternoon? In the sense of full-day/weekend pass tickets vs. afternoon only? And if so, how do I make sure I'm in the right one?
  8. Thanks, but I'm trying to figure out what "in time for my first activity" actually is (as i managed to miss it last year). If I'm trying to get in around 10, how early do you think I need to join the queue? I realize nobody can predict this with perfect accuracy, but I'm hoping for a guess based on more experience than my own.
  9. I have a three-day ticket. I do not intend to race anyone for any VQ tickets. It's all photo shoots and talks for me -- and, as it turns out, nearly all of it is Sunday. Assume I come at some point on Friday to get my wristband and wander the floor. Assume my action Sunday (not as crazy as many of yours, but certainly fun-filled) starts 'round about 10. When would you recommend arriving at Kensington/Olympia station? I'm trying to avoid the rush of everyone queueing to be let in when the doors open. I keep imagining a magical world where I walk right up and get let in without queueing around the building, but I don't know if that actually exists.
  10. OK, I will now share with you my super secret plan. Step One: Take selfie with giant Jeff Goldblum statue. Step Two: Print it out and bring it to LFCC Step Three: Ask Sam Neill to autograph it. Ideally with something like, "F*cking Malcolm"
  11. I just want to throw a piece of advice in here (based on my own idiocy last year). When you're looking at the schedule, be VERY AWARE that those little time blocks are 5 minute increments. If you're aiming for someone who has only 1 or 2 blocks for their photo shoot, be aware that you're looking at a tight window and, um, make sure you're not in line outside Olympia when that time ticks away.
  12. Looks like the (regular) photo shoot has already sold out. TARDIS one still open. (Am actually hesitating on whether to buy it. Not because I don't want it, but because I'd want to make sure I've got enough time for a wardrobe change, as the cosplay I want to use with the Capaldi photo shoot the same day would not work Smith.)
  13. Did not expect this announcement to be a guest of this calibre. Super excited. (I know you're not doing it -- but I nonetheless contemplated the hypothetical of if SM offered a joint photo shoot with all the Doctors in attendance. My brain exploded. Both at the thought of the price, and the thought that, no matter what the price, it would sell out.)
  14. Well, I can always stare at my shoes and say "I like your work," but the photoshoot enables me to bask in their presence without having any sort of social awkwardness.
  15. I think the photos are also preferable if there's a guest you'd like to meet, but figure you don't have anything useful to say.
  16. On behalf of your American fans, I greatly appreciate the timing of the announcements (around lunch).
  17. The recently announced Mr. Kilmer. (I think the fact that the review was a decade ago and for a project which was not, in general, well-received, works in my favor. I'm still cautious about giving offense, though.)
  18. Thanks. (That's the dilemma I'm puzzling over.)
  19. I might as well just ask it: Suppose, in another life, I'm a critic. Suppose I gave one of the guests a bad review. Possibly hilariously bad. But it was, like, a decade ago. D'you think I could get said guest to autograph said review? Or would that be Bad Form?
  20. I know that guest announcements can change until ... well, actually, right up until during the event. With that understanding, at what point do most people sit down with the list of guests and figure out who they're going to see? Or is it more of an evolving thing where you order DPs and Photos the moment guests you like are announced?
  21. I am selfishly hoping it will be someone in whom I am interested. :)
