  1. If you're batch 13 you will be towards the end of the shoot, so I'd say go to the shoot about 15-20 minutes before it is scheduled to end and you'd be fine. Do whatever you want until then.
  2. Hello, and welcome to the forum. I hope you enjoy your first comic con. If you buy a photo op and are at the photo area at the right time, you will 100% get your photo. The photo schedule is released about a week before the event. The photo op included the diamond pass is exactly the same as the regular op, except diamond pass holders go first for their photos. The batch number essentially gives you an indication of when you can get your photo in the allocated time slot. Diamond pass holders go first, then gold pass holders, then batch 1, then batch 2, and so on. In my experience, photo ops are always fun, although you don't get very much time with the guest. They're very quick, you go up, maybe exchange a quick hello with the guest, have your photo, and then go. However, I do like the piece of mind I get with photo shoots because it means I will 100% get to meet that person, rather than try for an autograph and risk missing out on meeting them. Hope this helps.
  3. Duo shoots are normally announced nearer to the event. I would imagine that there would be an Inbetweeners group photo, but there's a chance there won't be. It's best to keep checking back nearer to the time to see if one is added.
  4. The Crimson Horror- This isn't one which I particularly like , but it isn't too bad. Firstly, I like how this episode switches up the structure of a Doctor Who episode in an interesting way, such as how The Doctor and Clara aren't introduced until a good 15 minutes into the episode. The Paternoster Gang are excellent as always. Visually, this is a very well made episode, and the pacing is very good. This episode is also wonderfully atmospheric for the most part. Although the leads are all very good, the supporting characters aren't that good, except for Ada. I thought that she was a very interesting character. Mrs Gillyflower is not an interesting villain at all, despite a decent performance from Diana Rigg. The think that the idea behind the Crimson Horror itself, and what it does, is a good one. It's just a shame that the Crimson Horror is wasted in a weak story, without anything interesting being done with it. Mr Sweet looks ridiculous as well, and I think that the ending feels a bit too rushed, as it all seems to end too quickly and easily for my liking. It's not an awful story, but it's one of those which I never have the urge to revisit. Overall- 7/10.
  5. Eighty minutes. Getting close now. And good luck with your job hunt @Wrong Name.
  6. There's a Doctor Who gif for every situation.
  7. Journey To The Centre Of The TARDIS- It's surprising how few episodes are set almost entirely in the TARDIS. This one has such a fun premise, but as usual, the execution ruins an interesting idea. The leads are great as always, but the supporting cast aren't given good material, so they aren't interesting at all as a result. The time zombies aren't interesting monsters either, although I do think they are visually interesting. The pacing is pretty poor, and a good amount of the run time is just characters walking through corridors spouting exposition, which gets boring very quickly. The ending, however, is surprisingly clever, and makes an interesting use of time travel. The visual effects are quite good as well. Easily the best thing about this episode is getting to see a lot more of the TARDIS then we usually get to see. The TARDIS has always fascinated me ever since I first saw it, and even now I wish we got to see this much of it more often. It's kind of hard to explain, but I just had so much fun seeing the interior of the TARDIS in ways which we have never seen before or since. I thought it was very nice that we got to see things such as the Eye Of Harmony again. I also like how we get reminded that the TARDIS is sentient, and that it causes the events of this episode by itself in an effort to protect itself. I just wish that the characters who we follow through the TARDIS were ones that I actually cared about. Overall- 4/10.
  8. Indeed it won't be, but if he is announced I may try to somehow work out a way to go to this event. I recently managed to get a new job, which is better hours and has much better pay. If there's a guest announced who is a can't miss for me, then I may be able to stretch my funds in order to make another trip to London.
  9. David Suchet is amazing as Poirot, and he was in Doctor Who, so if it's him I'll be very happy.
  10. Hoping for big horror names, and Doctor Who guests, so the usual from me.
  11. And there we are, back to disagreeing. It's interesting how you think this is one of Smith's weakest performances. I thought he was great here, but hey, it's all subjective. I wasn't a big fan of this episode when it aired, but it has grown on me a lot upon rewatches.
  12. Hide- Much like Akhaten, this is an episode which I like, but the majority doesn't. I love a good haunted house story, and this is no exception. For a good portion of the run time, this feels like a low budget, sort of horror thing, with the focus on finding ghosts and so on. The setting is brilliantly atmospheric, and the lighting is fantastic. The small cast is wonderfully utilised, and the characters are well fleshed out. The leads are excellent. The haunted house portion of this film is near perfect in my opinion. I love it. Unfortunately this story falters when the pocket universe plot is introduced. I appreciate how this episode tried to do something different, but this story wasn't as interesting as the initial ghost story. Now, it isn't as interesting, but still enjoyable. I'm not bored when I watch it, but I still think it's not as interesting. It's a weird one. The love story between the alien creatures is another thing I'm not a fan of. It's a bit silly, and doesn't really work for me. However, I think that the creature design is great. Overall this is a fun episode. It starts amazingly, and has some great characters played by brilliant actors, but it loses some momentum as the story progresses, and the resolution is weak in my opinion. Overall- 7/10.
