I work at the Train Station as train crew. There are at least 9 trains an hour that depart from Sheffield that head to Meadowhall train station, these are ran by First Transpenine and Northern Rail. xx:06 Leeds via Castleford (Northern) arrives in Meadowhall on platform 4 (walk over the bridge towards platform 1 and then join the Tram there 1 stop) xx:11 Cleethorpes (First Transpenine) arrives in Meadowhall on platform 2 (walk over the bridge towards platform 1 and then join the Tram there 1 stop) XX:14 Leeds via Bolton upon Dearne (Northern) arrives in Meadowhall on platform 2 (walk over the bridge towards platform 1 and then join the Tram there 1 stop) xx:18 Leeds via Barnsley Express (Northern) arrives in Meadowhall on platform 4 (walk over the bridge towards platform 1 and then join the Tram there 1 stop) xx:24 Scunthorpe (Northern) arrives in Meadowhall on platform 2 (walk over the bridge towards platform 1 and then join the Tram there 1 stop) xx:36 Huddersfield (Northern) arrives in Meadowhall on platform 4 (walk over the bridge towards platform 1 and then join the Tram there 1 stop) xx:41 Hull / Scarborough / Bridlington (Northern) arrives in Meadowhall on platform 2 (walk over the bridge towards platform 1 and then join the Tram there 1 stop) xx:50 Leeds via Barnsley Express (Northern) arrives in Meadowhall on platform 4 (walk over the bridge towards platform 1 and then join the Tram there 1 stop) xx:53 Adwick (Northern) arrives in Meadowhall on platform 2 (walk over the bridge towards platform 1 and then join the Tram there 1 stop) The journey time between Sheffield and Meadowhall is 7 minutes, the tram journey time less than 5 minutes then a small walk to entrance.

I guess this is why Mike Edmonds posted on Facebook earlier today that he would be attending on Saturday, shame I wish Kenny well but could it be possibly time for him to retire?

Hey, Couple of friends are coming to the event but want to know can they pay on the door at the arena like they could do in Manchester?

This news was about come, the man as live longer than most thought Dwarven people would! he will be greatly missed when he joins the cast in the sky. We at The Dark Alliance will try present him with an Honorary Membership whilst he is there, we would like show we acknowledge everything he as done for the Star Wars universe and the fans.

Ordered 4x Tickets they have yet to come but I am sure they will be here within the next week or so. Also what is the entrance time for Standard tickets? 11am?

I am not sure Kenny will be there guys, a friend whom attend Celebration VII in USA last month stated that he was at his table in a wheelchair and on an oxygen machine, and he also pulled out of Star Wars Fun Day Burnley due to ill heath. I know I have stated in past that I had a bad experience with Kenny when I first met him last year, but Alan Flyng put me right last month, and I can understand why he was like he was, so please don't build you heart on him being there, nor be disappointed if he as to pull out. Kenny is an extraordinary dwarf and person, he as defied the scientists and medical experts by living as long as he as done and right now unless he is feeling 110% fit I wouldn't want him risking further health complications travelling the width and length of Britain. May the Force be with you Kenny!

If you went to an american comic con you would be desperately disappointed then, it is not even common for people to be OUT of costume, they will of course sell merchandise that cater for the genre, be it comic books, film, game etc... Yes we are not American but this is how the scene is evolving.
