I don't have a flicker and hardly use FB but really wanted to share. Hope I'm not breaking forum rules by posting directly? This was my first time and I still felt pretty awkard asking cosplayers for photos but I got a few (only attended Sunday). If you see yourself let me know! apologies for the photo quality. These 2 are my favourite. Simply because I'm a HUGE Sandman fan and it's my first time meeting 2 of the family!!! Also, just for good measure I spent some cash! All in all, I had a great time and most certainly will be back next year!!

Thanks for all the replies. I'll keep all that in mind, be polite, don't get handsy and wait til after lunch!! I'll be the guy wandering about himself sheepishly asking for photos, in as non a creepy way as possible of course.

Seen the first 2 episodes now and it's looking good. So far (2 eps in I know) they're sticking to the first book quite closely. It'll be interesting to see if that's something they keep to as I quite enjoyed the trilogy on the whole

I would love to come across the Sandman bookends (dream at one side, death at the other). I can't see it happening but I can hope

Quick question to the cosplayers, how do you find random people coming up to you at the cons and asking for either a picture or a picture with them?? This is my first big con, was at the Glasgow Comic Con at the start of July and I was in awe of the effort some people had put in but felt really embarrassed about asking them for a picture as I felt I might be intruding, being a non-cosplayer.

Hey all, thought I'd pop in and say hello. Never been to a convention of this sort before, went to the Glasgow Comic Con at the start of the month but think this has bigger potential, so bit the bullet yesterday and bought an early bird ticket for Sunday (can't make Saturday unfortuately). Quite looking forward it as you lot seem a good bunch so hoping the atmosphere is a welcoming one!
