Makes perfect sense, I only wish I'd taken my copy of Vengeance when I did a Robin on Sherwood convention a few years ago and gotten Jason Connery on it. I have him in my diary. and he did remember working on the episodes. I must be one of a handful of people who have now completed posters for both main casts of Robin of Sherwood, with Ray Winstone appearing this year. Michael Praed on one and Jason the other. And one with a certain Jeremy Bulloch as well. I couldnt make this years Robin of Sherwood convention, due to family priorities, but the convention gods smiled on me and Ray cancelled this one but did LFCC

Experiences at LFCC Winter 2024

I can only really comment on my experience, I was one of the lucky ones, I had a low pass for Ncuti and Millie, so my photoshoot experience was less stressful than most, as I was one of the early ones through, but even from where I was all you could see was a mass of people, and the usual with big guests, everyone milling around waiting for their batch to be called, I've seen it over the years where people are told if you dont have batch x,y or z to step back give everyone space and we'll call your batch shortly. I dont know if this was happening this time. Ncuti's autograph, despite them trying to get everybody moving, it didnt feel like a conveyor belt, he was genuinely happy to be there, and having a brief chat with everyone, again I was early so dont know if that changed later on. Millie's Autograph, again she seemed really happy to meet everyone, and again was quite chatty. My only negative was I smudged the personalisation on way out, my fault but nothing major, never happened before The only other guest I met was Kieren Bew, who was taking time to chat to everyone, and again looked like he was loving his time there I did see the aftermath on the socials, and photos, and to be honest it was not unexpected with the amount of diamond batches sold, and then shortened days, it's like they've forgotten the furore over Joseph Quinn, and not learnt the lessons of his appearance. Had he done the full day, would he have got through all the diamond passes and standard batches? -

100% this. Cut the numbers of passes being sold and return the exclusivity of them and I'll add this into the mix, I will happily pay a little extra on a diamond pass if they made them more limited. I'd rather this than them over sell them -
It's the same logic it seems how people worked out what story Dave Myers did make up on, as he couldnt remember himself, but he could describe what was others were working on around him. Which is how they pinpointed it to Vengeance on Varos

I need to re-read it, but there was a recentish Doctor Who magazine feature on extras from the 60s' and a couple of agencies. but if memory recalls that several extras were hard to trace, or have two or three pages on imdb as the paperwork had spelling mistakes in peoples names which made it difficult when it came to tracking people down years down the line. But this guy has nothing
-
Living near the Cardington hangers, quite often see calls for extras, Maybe I should take try my luck next time they are filming,
-
Exactly this, you would have thought there would have been something tangible to track back any information, I know he was an extra, and may only have been in far shots or crowd scenes, but you would have thought more would have come up
-
As he wasnt there as a guest, I wouldnt have imposed in that way, but if I'd managed to find him again I'd have shook his hand and said thank you for his efforts over the years
-
Nice of him to double check, would have been nice if he turned out to be in both
-
the photo with the tank, without being disrespectful, could have been taken by anyone, at anytime, theres no markers or hints as to it being a film sent, could even have been just walking by and happened to take a quick snap. Not saying that is the case
-
I may be widely wrong, but wouldnt they have had to clear this extra with him before inclusion. Doesnt excuse them not paying, just depends on the agreement for inclusion
-
Saying about the dvd's, whilst in the queue for Ncuti, I did see Toby Hadoke wandering around, wasnt close enough to say hi, but it did make me smile to see him casually chatting to people. I would be on safe grounds to say, he has made the most appearances on dvds and boxsets
-
I'm sure due dilligence would have been done, but I'd stick to single photos in the short term
-
Same, I didnt go today, but I'm thinking in future, do I want the hassle and madness of the Saturdays, when I can have a more relaxed Sunday
-
I've seen someone with an autograph from Ron Street, so he must have made an appearance at some point, nothing on multi signed pieces I will add
-
You can see some of the photos on the socials, it is just a mass of people just congregating around the photo area, they needed to have photos A and B at opposite ends/sides of the hall, so they could have at least managed what was going on in Photo A. And give the crew megaphones. Also, are we beyond having tapes on the floor as means of traffic flow But having both photo areas together should have flagged as not the best idea with the big names they had Although the crew member head of his queue was in control of the area around the entrance more help is needed keeping people back from the queue ends. So from my point of view it went smoothly, but then I was in eye of storm with diamond pass batch 2, and not seeing the chaos beyond where I was This is one of the reasons for big guests, if I have a diamond, I always jump into autograph queue as early as possible for fear of missing out. And scottish guy, just needed to raise his voice a little, as he was barely making it past the nearest rows of people
-
Kieren Bew was the same, his line was mental, but he was spending time with everyone, mostly for House of Dragon rather than anything else. But his line was always large Alexander will definatly be doing more events based on his popularity, and I bet they regret not getting him for both days. I had to miss out on him due to the lines, and having to leave for home early. So hopefully I can get him in the future. He was that busy that virtual tickets were being given out
-
One thing I forgot to do, was seek out the elusive Ron Street
-
They put the quietest staff member on his auto queue, which didnt help either as his voice didnt carry beyond the first couple of rows. But I'm glad I had a low Diamond pass thats for sure. And I'll finish on a positve. Ncuti was great
-
I got one for Alexander Devrient, but that was because he was going to a photoshoot, but they needed have bothered he had a healthy queue when i was leaving but nothing that needed a virtual ticket for
-
Millie was on fine form too, which is good to see for both of them. Couldn't do her photoshoot in end as needed to get home. But steelbook completed. Even if I managed to smudge it
-
I went for Ncuti first due to his truncated day, but the queue was flowing, and people were even allowed to buy extras which caught myself and people around me out, as we all thought it be a strict no for anything beyond your diamond pass. He was on fine form, engaging with everyone have a laugh and joke with people. And same at photoshoot
-
She was also signing before he arrived, which would have helped the early birds
-
Travelled light this early morning. Didnt even bring any DVD covers so that's Andrew Cartmell out for me. Hopefully he makes spring or summer next year

There are warnings everywhere to make sure you buy entry as well, so as much as I'm sympathetic, there really is no excuse
