  1. I was there for just saturday, and I managed one MJF talk, 5 photo sessions (they really need to all be in one place next time), 9 autographs, 1 deloran and 1 hog warts. I had just standard pass. I did want Ray Park but his queue was continually massive and when I did wait in line, he was messing around with the Darth maul costume guy (which I didn't mind, he was making his day and year probably) but then after just a couple signings he had an interview. In the the end I got fed up of waiting. I did also have an encounter with Iain Glenn which was awesome. Very happy, can't wait to get them all on the walls!
  2. Prop shoots are £5. You queue & pay there & then Thank you I didn't even know you could have photos just you in the deloran or clock face! I can't remember that being announced! Is that on the plan with the diamond guests? Will it work the same as the iron throne and death star last year? Can you have more than one person in it? What times it open? It is all on the schedule under props/car (delorean) certain diamond passes do include these shoots yes but anyone can queue and pay on the day. Can I just ask, what are the shield and hog warts props?

  4. Malcolm McDowell and now charles dance!?! Come on showmasters replace them and keep your customers happy. We need a new good name. Get on it! I've heard of guests being announced last minute. WE WANT ADAM WEST! Sort it out!
  5. My ticket says Neve Campbell Batch 3 on Saturday. Where is batch 3? Also is the Superstage close to the photos? MJF talk finishes at 3:30 I have Lea Thompson batch 2 at 3:20-3:45, and Daniel Portman at 3:30-3:45. How will that work?
  6. I hope there are some great late guest announcements on the horizon to get me out of this downer!
  7. It's been said that there are more £10 guests to be announced. If you could choose who would it be? Mine would be Lucy from Supergirl, William Fichter, Ally Sheedy, phoebe cates, anyone from the 60s batman, Maura Tierny and Ornella Muti (princess aura from Flash Gordon) What about you?
  8. Has Darth Vader artist Salvador Larocca cancelled? There's no mention on the feed, but he's listed under cancelled guests on the home page. I'm loving his art on the Darth Vader series and I was really excited about meeting him. It is film AND COMIC CON you should announce if guests can't make it, comic, film or otherwise.
  9. Noah Wyle has just had a baby with his wife it was announced today. I think that's why he can't make it. I really wanted to meet him too as I'm a big ER fan. But I think it's lovely he wants to be with his wife and baby girl.
  10. I don't think this is the biggest guest they've ever had. Stan Lee created tons of characters and is an absolute legend. Although Sigourney is big cult-wise with Aliens films, and it will mean a lot to fans of the those movies, I can't help wishing it was Ian McKellen!
  11. Helen slater without a doubt, we had our 6 mths son with us and as soon as she saw us, before money or autograph she held her arms out and cradled him for a really long time. Really amazing! She was chatting while she held him and chatted a bit after. We videoed the whole thing and we will show it to him in the future after showing him the film. Supergirl held our baby! She was amazing! Definitely an experience to remember :-)
  12. We had early bird tickets and were in the longest queue I've ever seen, but we were in within 20 minutes! That was cool. The 80s bat mobile was very dusty-would have been nice if someone had wiped it down before the show! We had an amazing time but it took us forever to find the car park- and I must say we were really disappointed with the game of thrones screening. You kept saying about a special guest who wasn't signing at any point over the weekend-this swayed us to getting tickets. The host made out this special guest was a piñata of goffrey! If this is the case then that is extremely cheeky of you, and very naughty. The three guests were all booked to sign. It would have been better if we could also actually see the guests-put them on the stage next time or at least have a screen showing them! You should have done it like the stan lee audience which was brilliant! The photo session with mr lee was extremely rushed ( we were session 3 on Sunday) . But what was good is you made sure everyone got a good photo. The staff was excellent, the guests were brilliant, so lovely, it was brilliant having features like the dragon skull as you walked in. I will say I think it was a bit strange making such a big deal of the girl who plays Shea in game of thrones, there was a lot bigger stars there, giving her a cornered off booth was a bit much! I must say, we came for all Sunday and we loved the day and haven't come down yet! We saw everybody we wanted too, we even have video of Helen slater holding our baby for such a long time! Amazing! The people in costume was amazing, really gave a huge feel to the day. I think everyone thinks Stan was worked too hard but I think you've probably heard about that a zillion times! The prop photos were brilliant, and was one the highlights, fantastic idea. Overall a great experience.
  13. Boy, stan is working really hard this weekend! I hope he's still smiling by the 3rd photo shoot on Sunday!
  14. Can the set stay up for Sunday too? Or is all of the Sherlock stuff just a Saturday event?
  15. Will we know in advance where these will be and at what times? Are they close together?
  16. John hurt is a legend, the price is fair, especially since Ian mcdiamond is £65! It's silly saying the last I met him it was cheaper, we saw carrie fisher and she was the most expensive at £20 in 2005 but the brilliant thing about these events is they are giving you the opportunity to meet someone you normally wouldn't have a chance to. We can't afford lots so we choose our favourites and we have no holidays this year, in fact we haven't since our honeymoon 11 years ago. But we do it because we see it for the chance it is. The celebrity has to sit there, smiling all day and has to try and make each meeting as memorable as possible. It's something that's not overly appealing no matter how entertaining you try and be. They have to have some kind of draw. Very few would do it for nothing. So stop complaining about price, and bow down to showmasters, what they've done for this weekend is astounding!
  17. Yay! Another countdown announcent! I love these! Could it be an avenger .
  18. In the question on who are you going with, there was no option for husband or wife yet there was for parents!! Both myself and my hubby are going, but the poor dude has now had to be classed as my friend! Lol
  19. Is there any chance of knowing when the next big announcement will come? When we had the countdowns for Lena headley and George a Romero, it was awesome! Great fun! And my guest suggestions would be any avengers cast-they are filming in The uk right now! Or Jamie, anya, calesi, or Peter Dinklidge from game of thrones would be ace! Or how about tony Todd? He was in Milton Keyes this year, candyman is one of favourite films ever! Or vehicles wise could we have the deloran from back to the future!?! That's a lot of requests in one go! But I would like to thank you for stan lee- a dream come true, and being a huge Supergirl fan, Helen slater is amazing! There's so many guests to thank you for, but also the iron throne and transformers rocked my world!
  20. Is it for everyone or just cosplay players as they're the man ones mentioned
  21. My husband has a photo op with stan lee, am I allowed in the room too, if not the shot? And is ok for our 4 month old baby to be in the photo?
