Last one sold out the advance tickets well in advance. But now they charge everyone the amount the last advance ones sold and say it's general admission from 9am.

Seeing as his Twitter account stated he was meant to have been at the last one, Robert Englund would be the perfect big name. Michelle Forbes, Lloyd Kaufman and Kate Mulgrew would also be on my (fantasy) list.

I think Showmasters have shot themselves in the foot over this. Past 2 times, I've ran out and immediately bought an early bird, especially because they sell out! This time I figured no hurry, I'll just wait till closer to the time. Now the way the guest list is planning out, it's not really high up on my events diary anymore. But if early bird tickets were on sale, I'd have bought 2 already.

Yeah, I remember that Look North show. However, a couple of traders have said they have booked these dates (November 2015), so it looks a lot more promising! The Soska sisters pages on facebook is full of them meeting fans, awesome doesn't scratch the surface. They'd go down a storm up here.

Not officially confirmed, but looks nailed on to be on 21st and 22nd November at the arena again. As it's a couple of weeks after Halloween, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for horror guests (cough, the Soska sisters and Robert Englund, cough).

The James talk does cost £20. If you have a ticket already you don't need to pay again. Wait a min, wasn't this £10 on the advance sales? Has it gone up to £20?

Seconded. TBH, I feel the same about Dr. Who / Torchwood guests! I'm gutted the booking of Robert Englund didn't come off. Although there are some good guests, to me it feels like there still isn't that one special booking, like Carl Weathers last year.

A massive thank you to the Showmasters staff / volunteers, who were friendly and generally canny to chat with. It's also GREAT to hear it's going to be 'bigger guests' next time. As London is out of my price range, that is just awesome news The rumour about another event this year was because the local news mentioned in their report their 'might' be one. However, they did not reference a source, so tbh that could have just been made up / wishful thinking from them.
