  1. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssssssssssss!!
  2. So far its Amanda Tapping, Rachel Luttrell, John De Lancie, Tony 'Bratac' (sorry can't remember his last time...how rubbish am I??) and my friend is seeing Leonard Nimoy so I will as well. Possibly Avery Brooks but depends on who else is announced and how much money I have left!!
  3. I'm there - loved the last 2 Chevrons so I'm signed up for gold already
  4. Now that would be so cool! I wrote to Jim'll fix it when I was a kid to meet the 6 million dollar man and never got a reply so this would make up for it (all of 30+ years later )
  5. Have just played this to my parents who always thought I was insane and I think they now 'know' I'm insane ..............so I am trying to memorise this! Anyone created lyrics to the Atlantis theme tune yet? Anyone fancy having a go?
  6. Ben Browder (although I'd love to meet David Hewlett again as he is hilarious, or Beau Bridges, or pretty much any of them to be honest) jewel staite (although spoilt for choice in category 3 as Paul McGillion would be cool too) and christopher heyerdahl 'Todd'
  7. this is looking cool! I am really looking forward to this already!
  8. Apart from the obvious Harrison Ford, George Lucas, Steven Spielberg and the new pack of Clooney, Pitt, Damon etc. .......I would really love to meet - Richard Dean Anderson (again....although I can't see that happening somehow as I think we'd scare him half to death at an event this size ) Michael Caine Patrick Stewart (keep missing him!) Jonathan Frakes and I'm sure a few more (sorry, my brain is mush after the day at work I've had today )
  9. Park Inn for me cos it was really handy
  10. yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
  11. I'd volunteer...I'm an average bordering on middle age woman Seriously, I'm with you on this one - I like to see a mixture of ages, so I think they might be in danger of alienating their current audience if they are not careful by sticking with youngsters in their 20s. However, you never know - it might be a huge great success and we will all eat our words! They seriously will need someone with HUGE charisma to launch it - SG-1 would never have taken off without RDA, and I'm sure Atlantis would not have lasted so long without David Hewlett.
  12. cool guest!! He was lovely at Manchester (although he kept disappearing during the day so the crew are going to have some fun )
  13. THis was hard to choose....... too many choices not enough votes...................... Joe Flannigan AND Ben Browder are on my wishlist

    The Quiz

I think this is a cool idea - my friends and I did the paper quiz together anyway so it would be great to do it 'officially'
  15. Nicely put Jason. I love these events and appreciate that they take a lot of work and effort from you and your team - I'm just happy to have had the opportunity to meet some great people (both celebs and new friends)
  16. Hmmmm. Not sure what to think about this. I like Atlantis (whereas I loved SG-1) but I think Atlantis has been very erratic and inconsistent as there have been some very weak (and recycled from SG-1) storylines but also some great ones in the same series................so I do enjoy it, but (personal opinion) if you take away McKay as a character then I figure you end up with a pretty average show the way it is written at the moment - the relationship between McKay and Beckett was always far more natural and believeable to me than the current 'friendship' between McKay and Sheppard at the moment. Teyla, Ronan, Keller and Wolesey are OK characters but don't work on their own. I think Sheppard has been underdone as a character - to me there was only ever one Jack O'Neill (2 'l's) and Sheppard was a pale imitation but could have been developed so much better. I'll reserve judgement on the new Universe. I'm with others on this forum that it sounds like recycled Star Trek tales to me at the moment, so I'm not sold on the idea................yet.
  17. Nice one - got everything crossed as hoping to make it to this one
  18. I'm not sure yet. I really want to go to Midlands as I can get there and back OK in a day, but not sure if I can afford the two (as I'd have to add hotel for MK) so am waiting to see who is announced to see if I should raid the savings or buy Xmas pressies this year
  19. So I vote lets have them both at 7.2
  20. This would be ace - ER finishes next year apparently after 15 years! How about a medical drama Con? - could incorporate House MD (my personal fav along with ER) Grays Anatomy, ER, and even the UK home grown ones have a huge audience like Casualty and Holby City. I'd definitely come along
  21. I love House MD and Bones - I think the Crime con would be a great idea
