I am going alone, I was all booked up to go with my dad who had been coming the past few yrs to these events and loved them. Sadly he passed away suddenly last month at quite a young age :\ but I'm still gonna go and continue our collection we had been putting together. Hopefully I'll find my way around London!

Hey Too Tall, if I was to go to the GOT screening, would I still be able to access the comic awards once the screening has finished with a comic gold pass? Or is it you need to be in there by a certain time?

"Just a load of signatures" might mean more to someone than a top end guitar though. The point is that nobody should be bothered really what anyone chooses to spend money on, no matter how much. Some work hard and save even harder just for this weekend. The "squiggle" you get at the end is just something that comes with the experience of being in the company of someone you might have idolized for many years or a new star from your favourite show. Sure the prices can seem a little high at times, but it's just a one off, a chance you may never get again. That's what people pay for really and I think it's totally justified when you see a big fan walking away from a guest buzzing with excitement and a huge smile on their face,it's about making memories. I wouldn't judge you for buying a packet of crisps for £20 as long as you enjoyed them, but Carrie Fisher is hardly a pack of ready salted Either way hope everyone has an awesome time, whatever they spend!

People can spend their own money on whatever it is that makes them happy, some might not like travelling, it's not "sad" at all. I've put aside £1000 for the weekend, almost half will go on autographs, mostly because I need to get Carrie Fishers 3 times. I love travelling too but there's more chance of me being able to book a flight somewhere again than there is I'll get chance to meet Carrie Fisher or Stan Lee. So you shouldn't really judge someone else's spending habits when it's what makes them happy. For the record I'm off on holiday in August

£1000 to last me over the 3 days, I'd like to think I wouldn't spend it all but I probably will. I've got terrible will power lol.

Femi is a lovely lady to meet, I spent about 20mins talking to her at Cardiff when she first arrived as there wasn't anyone with her,and loved talking about her role and how much she loves meeting the fans. You should meet her for sure.

I have to keep checking this thread to see if it's still real! I always enjoy meeting guests but I've never been proper excited like I am about this announcement. Best guest ever for me.

I wouldn't worry just yet about orders, they're usually pretty good and manage to arrive with plenty of time, and to be honest my last 2 orders still say "viewed" and I've already had them delivered!
