I just loved the fact I managed to meet the guests I wanted to see after traveling so much that day, feeling so hot and tired it was just good to meet them They where all nice and friendly especially Norman Reedus and Charles Martinet I think I have mentioned in other threads but I was slightly disappointed that I couldn't afford photo shoots but I did manage to get a photo with Charles just had to miss out on the other two that I met Mustering confidence in myself (having a social disability) and the fact that I managed to hug and get a hand shake from Norman (my main reason for going) and it all went well just summed the day up for me really lol

I'm sorry to hear that some people are disappointed with their photos, I like others would of complained and would of asked for a re-shoot. You pay good money for these sort of things and these things may only happen once (having that particular guest at the show) so I wouldn't care and would simply demand a re-shoot It was a rather hot weekend and when I was at the show was so hot and tired it was really getting to me, at times I was really feeling like I was going to faint from it all lol On top of that though I hadn't had chance to eat since the morning (I went on Friday) and had been up and rushing about since 5am so at 6-7pm I was fed up from it all lol However, I had paid good money to get in and to even get to the event so I was determined to enjoy myself and I'm a rather shy person in all fairness but I somehow managed to ask for a hug from Norman and to shake hands with him and the other guests I met, which for me was rather difficult not because of who they are but because of the way I am (I'm autistic/selective mute) so I was pleased it all happened well and proud of myself for asking for a hug and such lol So my point is if your not happy with something or feel like things could of been better if you asked or did something about it, then DO it don't be afraid to ask. You pay good money for these things! Anywho I didn't get a photoshoot with anyone as I couldn't afford to (what with autographs too lol) and it was my first Showmaster event I had been to so didn't know what to expect exactly I do have questions regarding these things tho 1) Who is in charge of these photoshoots? do the guests demand no posed pictures and just opt for proper photoshoots? or is it mainly Showmasters like they get who they think is going to be the main/big guests at the show and put them in boxes (well it looked like a box lol) and demand no posed pictures? Who gets the money from it? 2) Slightly off topic but I'll ask anyway. If I had brought my own stuff to get signed from home and such do I still have to pay say £30 to get it signed despite it being my item and not one of those pictures you can get as you go to get the autographs? I'll be honest I'm not a big fan of these photoshoots (might be because at other cons I have been to you can get the person your with or someone in line to take a photo there and then and I'm just used to that) but it all just seems annoying. No posed photos unless its done by a ''professional'' photographer, which is obviously more money and I'm on a tight wage as it is lol Don't the ''photographers'' ask if people are ready before the pictures are taken? then maybe some of these misfortune issues are avoided? Why cant we have the option people pay extra for proper photos and those that are not that bothered just have them taken at the signing desk? instead it seems that if your in one of those boxes that you are simply allowed no photos with them regardless. What is with some guests being in boxes and others aren't lol Anyway sorry for anything that seems odd or whatever I'm still rather new to all of this so..

Wanted to do this back on Friday night but oh well lol Anyway just wanted to say thank you. It was my first time at a Showmasters event and at Earls Court but I found everyone very friendly and helpful Wasn't sure if I was going until very late Thursday night when we purchased Plane tickets (work commitments almost stopped me from going altogether) My main reason for going was to meet Norman Reedus who was very nice and managed to get a hug and hand shake, just wish I could of afforded the photoshoot ticket as well as autograph but oh well hopefully he will be back Anyway when I arrived outside Earls Court which wasn't that hard to find we noticed a rather big queue (wow Friday, only 3hrs) (oh and no I didn't have tickets due to not knowing what I was doing but I was still surprised lol) so I was a bit panicky. Traveled for a few hours just to see the guests and now was thinking I wouldn't see any and that this queue would be my downfall. How wrong I was, the queue went rather quick (thankfully lol) Anyway it was all awesome and if only I could of afforded photoshoots it would of all been fantastic but I'm still happy to of met them to begin with, so thanks again and you now have a new and hopefully (dependent on guests and ofc work and stuff a regular attender to these events) Thanks again!

I met him on Friday and was so happy I managed to meet him as I wasn't sure I would when I ended up in a biggish queue outside the venue, was expecting to be in that queue for ages lol Anyway he was really nice, managed to get a hug and shake his hand. Yea ditto but I mainly just knew her from voicing in Dragon Age and Uncharted. Hope all is ok though and hopefully will see her at a future event Just wondering though who is the voice your referring to?

So let me get this straight I can just simply walk up to the guest and pay for autographs there? I thought I needed a voucher? Also would it be okay to ask the guest for a quick photo when I'm at their table? and if I was to go on friday what time is it best to get there if you don't already have a ticket and what is the chances of meeting 4 guests all on that day? hehe Thanks for the replies!

I would suggest looking at a script that would allow for IMDB/ Giantbomb credits from being pulled per guest onto the site, lets get the site into the next gen Godam now I have to bring more money lol (I like to collect game autographs and I had no idea who these guys where until you posted, I know the characters just not the voices behind them xD) I still have no idea if I'm able to come yet I'm getting all excited now lol

Sorry if this has already been mentioned before but can you buy autograph tickets or whatever you need in order to get an autograph using a credit/debit card? or do you need to pay via cash only? Other events its cash but I thought I would ask anyway seeing as its different lol Thanks!

And possibly odd ones I don't know lol Anyway I'm new to this website and have never been to Earls Court before so.. 1) Would the venue be easy to drive to? What roads do I take and such? as the person I'm hoping to go with is worried about driving there and well I hate Trains xD 2) I failed to buy early entry tickets online so is there any chance to buy early entry tickets at the door? I'm not a big fan of queuing up for normal tickets as it often takes too long (judging by other shows) and I just cant hack that really (been there before) and I also worry if I don't get in early enough the guests I want to see will either run out of these autograph tickets and such considering I'm more than certain that they will be popular If I do end up going its going to take a few hours to get there and I will just be going for the guests so I really don't want a wasted trip lol 3) I saw that you sell photo shoot tickets and got kind of confused. What is the difference between these photoshoots and just going up to the guest as I get the autograph and just asking for a quick photo there and then? Would it be okay to just ask for a quick photo or must it be done via photoshoot tickets? 4) Do all guests carry something to get signed or do you need to bring something? 5) I noticed the Gold Passes are still available (which I find good in the fact it sounds almost certain that I wont miss guests) but if I bought one of those do I need to buy another for the person I am with? or can we just get one and both go in? I'm so gutted I missed out on tickets online and I'm still uncertain if I can go but I really don't want to go and miss out on the guests Thanks!

Crap am I too late? I'm new to this whole thing but I thought tickets would be still for sale until tomorrow? but now every time I log into the shop I don't get the option to buy tickets any more but it was up a few minutes ago
