  1. Whoever recorded the new lines for Mr. Hartnell did a great job. It took me a while to realise that 1st wouldn't have been calling the War Council of Gallifrey... as it didn't exist at the time.
  2. Allison Janney or anyone from The West Wing and I would cry.
  3. The girl as Lara Croft on, possibly Sunday, was great too.
  4. Was this on the Sunday? :) Yes, it was. Was that you? If it was this person on the left https://fbcdn-sphoto...528508744_n.jpg then yes! :) I remember seeing you, too! Another brilliant effort.
  5. She was wonderful, took the time for a few words at the photoshoot. Great to meet her for the first time.
  6. @Life_on_Hold Time to play catch-up with the world of social media.
  7. Hey Nieke, only got a few quick looks but you were brilliant =)
  8. Not sure what to do with my day when I don't have to make my way around an infinite loop of David Tennant cosplayers.
  9. Hey everyone, just wanted to pass on my thoughts of the weekend. It was quite the solo trip and also my first con, no less. Firstly, thank you to the crew at the organisers booth Saturday morning. I wish I could have got your names just to not have to refer to you all as 'that guy' and 'that lady' haha. But both ladies that helped me out with passes ( far left & far right @ 09:45 - love you both ) were extremely friendly and helpful which set the bar for the rest of the weekend. It was well organised chaos from my POV. I believe it was Stuart (?) doing such a great job at keeping the longer queues in order. Particularly Charles Dance & John-Rhys Davis. Well done to you, sir - thank you! The madam crewmember manning the printing machine in Photo Area B through Saturday was a pleasure - even when things were arriving in the wrong order. Somehow waiting in line was entertaining each time. Everyone in the photo areas were on form for that matter. Very slick operation getting in and getting out - I was surprised by how quickly the lines were moving. Jenna (<- pre-Who), Gillian, Torri, Chris, John, Robert & Henry Ian Cusick were all brilliant. Lovely people. From the blokes in the Doubletree lifts to the lady cosplayers in the JLC auto queue - you sure made this 19 year-old lost soul with his grey jacket and black rucksack feel at home. It's quite true that it's easy to feel at ease in a crowd of sci-fi fans. It was a great atmosphere around the hall and I damn well missed the experience today. Very much anticipating future visits. Fantastic first impressions. Thank you Showmasters and thank you all!
  10. It was worth every second. Thank you to all the crew and everyone there for providing an amazing atmosphere. Special thanks to a lady ( dark hair and as not-so-tall as I am ) on the crew whose name I do not know - I wish that I did - only know that she was manning the booth on the Saturday and the Sports line-up on Sunday. All very helpful.
  11. I knew I forgot to ask something. Brilliant!
  12. I like to think that we briefly bonded over my taxi being a Prius. Was more than happy to take a book - looking forward to the read.
  13. John Rhys Davis was amazing for that =D Really enjoyed the day, great atmosphere around the hall. Jenna, Torri, Chris, John & Robert Llewellyn - what lovely people. Special thanks to the team at the booth today. Had to side-step pretty sharpish to avoid knocking in to Ronnie O'Sullivan. Wish I could say that every day.
