  10. This was my first con and i got photos with Gillian and Jeri and yes they felt rushed but i knew this was most likely the best chance i have to ever met them. And if the moment was brief, i got to say hello ask how they are and get my photo, i will now treasure that photo, and its something i can show others. I can understand how it can feel like your just rushed through and its about money, but for them to stand about and get there photos took all day long and be signing autographs over and over, this surely must be a tiring job. I was shattered from just queing, but they had to stay happy, smile and sign for every person who turned up to see them.
  11. When i turned up for the Gillian Anderson photo shoot the poor guy trying to get people to move back as they were crowding the area, you could tell his voice was going, he was shouting them to move behind the pillars over and over and the people hanging about were paying no attention to what he was saying. Mabye a megaphone would of been useful to get people to listen and tell people to move back and what tickets numbers are queing. Metal barriers would be a good idea to physically keep the queueing in one place.
  12. From how people are going on at the OP, next time he finds that someone has lost something, i wonder if he will pick it up and try to return it or just leave it on the floor as all he seems to be getting is vilified, what is done is done, and has tried to do the right thing. How about some usefull replies here such as addresses to send the camera too and possibly a thanks for trying to do the right thing.
  13. Was my very first con and wanted to give my thoughts. Firstly i had an amazing time, i was not sure what to expect, as i dont really know anyone else who is into scifi as i am, i dragged a friend along who likes comics. It would of been nice to chat more with people with same interests but i dont find it that easy to talk to people i dont know. I didnt really mind any of the long queues it was just brilliant to be able to meet and get photos. Was very tired after the weekend but was totally worth it.
