Queen_Sindel I have called See Tickets to no avail. Last week on Monday or Tuesday I called them up and was told the tickets had already been printed but they were not being dispatched. The person on the phone went to have a talk with their manager and upon their return they couldnt offer me a reason for why they werent being dispatched. I called again on Thursday and was told I'd have them by Monday (today). Well at lunch I went home and the postman had delivered the post but my tickets weren't there. I called See Tickets for the third time, only to be talked down to, told to basically live with it and that I'd get 'dupes' (apparently saying the word 'duplicates' is too taxing now?) to pick up at the box office on Friday. I want to sort out my schedule and without my tickets I don't know what my allocated talk-times are. Could you help me? Could anyone help me? Also, if I get no 'dupes' on Friday, what do I do then??? it's a lot of money for an Event Ihave been dreaming of for years, I'd hate to not be let into the venue due to gross negligence on See Tickets end.

I agree. All the effort to get the guests already announced is also greatly appreciated. The concern is - seeing as at the beginning we were told to expect between 20 and 40 guests and now we have exactly 20 - what if no more TNG guests were to be announced? seeing as it's TNG's anniversary it would be a little strange. Of course it would be quite if we got no more main cast members. Forgive me for saying this but in the US they got the whole of the main TNG actors and im just a little green with envy. The 5 captains are not taken into consideration when I talk about main cast they are after all the main attraction. The majority of the guests so far are brilliant (I mean Casey Biggs and Alaimo? Hertzler and O'Reilly? etc... etc... etc.. WOW!) but I, like many others have stopped buying photoshoots and autos. I dont want to be left penniless just to discover main cast guests are announced further down the line. Walking into the bank to ask for a loan and to explain it's for DSTL would get me kicked out and my account closed lol You said organizers won't comment, I believe that. While the guest announcements up till now have been really good (our thanks to the organizers) we are starting to notice that the number of guests is increasing and there arent any TNG cast members or any of the all time favourites and instantly recognizable cast members, eg: - Frakes - Spiner - Wheaton - Dorn - Shimmerman - Auberjonois - Picardo - Visitor We know the organizers are doing their best to make this a spectacular event, so forgive us for wanting to know more about the plans. Even if no names are named, could we at least get a heads up on whether or not we are likely to get any more main cast actors? For the time being this doesn't really feel like a TNG special at all, which in itself is not a bad thing as we are Trek fans, however seeing as it's labelled TNG special, it would be nice to know we are definitely getting more main cast members.

Hertzler O'reilly and Walsh are very well known and loved. Also not all guests will please everyone :) I for one I am uber excited and Im bouncing around like a crazy person! Also Michael Dorn said on Twitter he wouldnt miss DSTL for anything, so there ya go he's unofficially said he's coming :)

Too much negativity in here FRAAAAAAAAKES!!!! It is TNG's 25th so definitely FRAKES for DSTL!!! no amount of LFCC would make up for it

Sometimes laws can be absurd. If things are for personal use and one has paid for the privilege of owning a photograph by X or Y photographer (just like owning a CD by a band), I'd like to be able to use the photograph (again for personal use, like the CD) however I see fit. So if I want to blow it up to A3 or even A2 and use it as wallpaper on my house walls, I should be allowed to do that, as I have purchased the photo and it's my face in there. I do however understand and totally agree with the limitation of reproduction/use in commercial situations. Obviously the world of photography has to catch up at some point but I doubt it will be in time for the con.

Take it to a photographer. They have better equipment which can blow up an original to whatever size you want. You shouldn't lose much quality and you'll get a digital image. Better than a standard scanner?? Thank you! you've made me very happy

Doubt that that will ever happen. The photo is copyright of the photographer and if you get the copy then all rights are removed. It's a tricky subject. Trust me been there, done that. that sucks. Scanning the pic will never be good enough to blow up to say an A3. Oh well. Thank you for your replies

It's just crossed my mind that I would much prefer owning a digital copy of all the photographs of me with the Captains (and possibly all the other guests). Is it possible to get that? CDs nowadays cost next to nothing :) or we could bring our own memory sticks or blank discs....

yes i agree that would be awesome but depends on us poor people on how much it will cost I would like to meet patrick stewart, william shatner and wil wheaton... met brent spiner last year and also meeting mr frakes in july Where are you meeting Mr Frakes? I'd love to meet him. Of course if he is one of the guests at this con, it would be even better

The Gold Pass includes a ticket for Opening Ceremony/Captains Talk. So from that it seems to be a combined ticket for those two events. It's very much likely that it's just not doable to load the hall again after the opening ceremony. I think maybe my question was unclear :) When I said Opening Ceremony I meant that and the Captains Talk. Surely it's not only a privilege for those who can afford a Gold pass. Will there be add-on tickets for that combined event? :) sorry for being unclear earlier.
