  1. Awesome! Met him last year at MK, but defo want to meet him again! Please now try to get Heather langenkamp, and Lisa Wilcox too !!
  2. She'd be a cool guest, though I have this weird feeling she was at LFCC last year and I managed to miss her......
  3. Ditto, plus Jo Chen (Buffy comic book artist) Pleeeeease!
  4. HAHAHAHAHA, thats awesome! Did you not even speak to him? Hiya, talking to him ... not at the photoshoot, although orange_warrior and I are of the opinion that he said something along the lines of" that is awesome!" I thought it was after the shoot, orange_warrior thinks it was when we came ushering in... but he definitely liked the general idea he was definitely fun - we pulled the same stunt with Adam Baldwin, who was a bit ... dunno, unhappy ... overwhelmed ... flustered ... not the same, simply not the same ... Yeah, I've heard Adam Baldwin was a mixed bag. I'm a big fan of his, but decided against meeting him, as he didnt seem very approachable when I was there. But, I've also heard he was great at other times. Next time for me, i guess!
  5. 1. Kurtwood Smith 2. Peter Weller 3. Amber Benson 4. Lisa Wilcox 5. Kirsty Sawnson can't be bothered thinking of anymore.....
  6. Please get him and Jonathan Frakes! I didn't meet him at LFCC last year, and I've regretted it ever since, plus Frakes cancelled this years LFCC, so it would be fantastic to finally see them !!
  7. Can we please look into getting Jo Chen (Buffy S8 Cover Artist) as a guest...... PLEEEEEEEEASE.
  8. HAHAHAHAHA, thats awesome! Did you not even speak to him?
  9. hhmmmmmmm, star wars and star trek themes in a 5 piece band..... That could be interesting. If you can think of any more, then please post 'em up!
  10. Coolio, happy to hear it! Also, if Dean Stockwell was there too, I'd be over the moooooooooooooon !!
  11. I'm going to this event with some workmates who are really into Star Trek, I myself am a fan, but not hugely. I want to meet Scott Bakula, but mainly because of his time on Quantum Leap, as I haven't seen ST: Enterprise. Do you think there will be a problem with him signing a Quantum Leap item, even though the event is for Star Trek?
  12. Hahahahaha, I know this all too well. It takes easily over a week for me to get back to normal. I spend at least a week just thinking about it, and wishing I was back there. They always seem to be over way too fast. Already planning the next one in my head. lol
  13. I'd LOVE a horror convention here, but realistically it wouldn't work, there's just not enough of that here. In the states it works as they have a land-mass like mainland Europe, and a much bigger industry for it. Here's it would be too small to workout, with very few guests etc.....
  14. Didn't say I wanted it "banned", I mean they have Italian gore films there too. Maybe I was just surprised to see that type of manga sold there, I know serveral people who were surprised too. I guess on here I'm alone in that opinion. You'll find me at the next event, behind the snuff table. NOTE: My mate at work just explained to me, from the sellers stand point, several thousand people coming to an event over 3 days is big business for that type of stuff, so it's understandable why they would sell at the event. Just not my thing I guess.
  15. My point was not my brother, he's 16 years old. I just don't think that type of manga should be sold at these events. Regardless of whether you choose to bring your child or not, many families do. I just thought it was bad taste. It'd be the same if I found adult mags or playboy being sold there. Just becuase it's illustrated in manga style, doesn't make it acceptable at an event where children clearly are going to be.
  16. This has been bothering me a little and I just want to get it off my chest. On Sunday I was walking around the stalls, which were all as enjoyable as ever. However I was some-what disturbed when my younger brother (who's 16) asked me what 'spam' was. At first I was confused, until he showed me that a seller was selling "spam" comics at his stall. These are not for children and are adult only, which does not have a place at these conventions. Personally, they don't bother me, but it was rather shocking as these events are largely family friendly. The comics were covered by a white/opaque cover, that made the front of each row slightly-covered, but not entirely. Basically it didn't leave much to the imagination. Now I'm not telling people how to live or hwatever, or trying to be preachy, it was just a bit odd, in my opinion. For these type of events, I don't think there's a place for that.
  17. I've heard stories of the wallets fading or even peeling autographs off, but have never had this happen to mine. Before going to LFCC on Sunday I had a look a my other ones from '11/'10, and they're all in great shape, no issues. The same guys sell them at all the events I've been to, they have an imressive collection of Golden Age/Silver Age Marvel's, and their plastic wallets can be found to the right for only £1 each. It should be remembered that autographs in silver pen, although they look great and standout better, can fade or come away easier. I think I'm going to buy a folder etc.... to keep them in, any suggestions?
  18. All guests I have met have been a dream come true (see in my sig below), some are among my biggest heros, from Clive Barker to the wonderful Danielle Harris. But honestly, the best guest I have come across, since meeting him last year, and seeing him twice since, has to be Anthony Head. He's so good with fans, it's great to see everytime.
  19. The steampunk girl at the end looks excellent!
