Yeah just about to start my travel, first 40 mins on a train. Then 2 hours on a Eurostar and then again the train from London. They better have place in the Ibis and the Ibis better know of it, or I might just go mental at Park Inn hotel. But not gonna stress about it, will not do me any good, Im sure for everything there is a solution :) And in the end I just hope I get a Double bed that is at least big enough for 2 people to sleep in.

I can understand that David, and tbh I feel ur pain completly... Tbh I still hope you can have a great time since it is a birtdhay present for urself. Im otherwise happy to sing Happy Birthday for u, if that will cheer u up...Actually thinking about it, if I did that, the hotel would probably be empty

oh wow David, that is really bad, Im sorry to hear that. If you want, u can walk with me and my friend so you're sure u don't fall :) And that also is for everyone else, Im happy to walk with people to the Ibis, if u feel insecure or not safe. Im even happy to do a few trips to make sure people are safe in the Ibis :) From what I can hear here, the Park Inn is telling different stories to everyone, what is so not proffesional at all. and yeah I think we should all make the best of it since we can't really change anything. Thanks guys you actually make me feel much better :)

LOL yeah I know about ur friend, we have a common friend :) And for her it really is bad, because she has had to deal with loads already before. They really should have left her in the hotel... Atm I think everything that is going on with this con is just ridicilous, incompetence is just not covering for me atm... I don't think much people will be happy bunnies, I'll be a nervous rack, stressing out and not knowing anyone so yeah.... *hugs Deeds*

Yeah well I just phoned them again because tbh I really can't deal with all of this and I really am trying but atm it's not working. I still have to travel (what for me is a nightmare before already). I am still doubting if I am willing to travel and have all this stress. Yes it's a waste of money, but the only reason I was still coming was because Park Inn hotel is a good hotel and Torri.. They just told me that only the disabled people (because apparently there is a law against it) and people with a single can stay in the hotel. While I can understand about the disabled, I don't get why they then can't just keep the people who booked first and those late relocate. Yeah it might sound horrible but for someone with severe panick attack and an anxiety disorded, and someone who 3 years never did a con because of that, it's a rather big deal...Not to say that everyone else should have to deal with it either becuase Im sure all of us are now extremly stressing... Also I asked about the price and we still have to pay the full price of the Park Inn hotel and we only get some drank vouchers. I told them that the Ibis is cheaper and then they just told me that is because they don't do breakfast. And that is why they keep the price to what it is.

Yeah I also got rebooked to the Ibis, tbh I find it rather upsetting that we have to call them to ask if our booking was okay. We booked our hotel in May and a few months ago we called if everything was still okay. They promised us then everything is good...and now they dare to tell us we got rebooked...How unproffesional I think this event has become the worst ever for me. Guest cancelling, yes I wasn't happy but I could understand even though atm I don't really have anyone who I wanna meet, since I already met Torri previously, I could have better spend my money on Chevron 7.8. Obv if Ben is going to Chevron 7.8 I will be so upset I'm a person who needs everything planned into the smallest details, from when I leave and get the trains till when I arrive. Where I stay and how it looks and all that. So now them cancelling my hotel, just made me completly freak out and panick. And not to mention that I hardly know anyone going this year... Oh well I guess its time to get more social and try to meet some people :)

Finally got my letter

Still waiting for my registration letter, and hoping I will get it before Sunday because otherwise I will not be able to print it since I will have limitted internet acces from then, and probably not even a printer... I guess in case I can't print it, the order confirmation letter will do?

Aww Im so sad. He was the reason why I decided to go to Chevron 7.7 Unless it's Claudia Black or Amanda Tapping coming, I will be very dissapointed... I guess I'll just have to see it as a time to spend some time with my partner off work since I don't really know anyone going

I just booked my hotel room today... So I would suggest try again if u really want to get ur hotel sorted out. Because they only have single and double-room left. No twins-left any more. And yeah I just singed-up to reply on this, oh well I had to do it eventually, since chevron 7.7 will be my second convention with them
