I had a very good meet with Sean Young previously (6 years ago apparently). She signed my booklet from the 5 disc Blade Runner dvd tin, which also has signatures from Rutger (rest in peace) and Edward James Olmos.

Well, the good news is Spring now has some announced guests.... The bad news is they're just postponed guests from Winter...
-
You're weekend will be less busy with Richard Dreyfuss postponed and David Bradley cancelled, but probably more manic with the changes for Ncuti.

I feel like a lot of these lists have developed a new sheen on them today,

Excellent announcement and can't wait to meet him. But is the talk on SATURDAY OR SUNDAY? Text for Diamond Pass in the opening post looks wrong as it says SATURDAY for both days! And on the ticket page, it is listed as "Sunday talk" but then says "Saturday" in the ticket description! It must be Sunday as it is included in the Sunday Diamond Pass description on the ticket page, but someone needs to correct this, please. -

Somehow, I knew you'd be pleased... lol -
I met the other puppet in the queue for David's autograph and we had a fun chat. The two puppets are actually different, mine has the claw marks on the face from later in the episode, whereas I noticed the other puppet didn't have these. I didn't even know there were different versions until now!

Yes this was Sunday, but no that wasn't me (I was in a white Hard Rock t-shirt from Washington DC for a Bones link). Angel was being held on my right arm (don't have the original box) when he was out. Sometimes he was locked away in my bag when he started to get too aggressive, didn't want us fighting in the corridor like he did with Spike

I feel like, now LFCC Summer has passed, we need a general chat thread here for the Winter edition. Presumably, there will be a guest announcement post on here imminently for Ncuti Gatwa, as he's front and centre on the promo posters on display this weekend. I imagine his appearance will get ticket sales off to a good start. I look forward to seeing whoever else gets announced in the run up to November...

Agree with everything you've said. So happy to have met David - 23 years after meeting my first Angel cast member, I've finally met the whole of the main cast. David was quiet as expected, but when he saw the Angel puppet his face lit up and he said it was awesome. Thanks to everyone who spoke to me in the queue. It was funny hearing all David's f-bombs during his talk, in contrast to his seemingly quiet personality. Apparently he reads scripts and books from back to front! Corinne Clery was good fun and really seemed to be enjoying herself. All the guests were good that I met. It was strange seeing so much open space in the main hall, although yesterday was a lot busier from what I heard. They will need to get the entrance price right going forward. The event has obviously shrunk, but the price has gone up a lot compared with pre covid. I heard a group discussing "value for money". It's a difficult balance which is impacting on all types of entertainment. I hope they are a success going forward, I've had many great years visiting LFCC and hope for a good few more. They do need to find a way to get more guests though.

Schedule And Where Do I Collect My Diamond Pass
sirjim replied to DaWhovianGuy's topic in London Film & Comic Con 2024
I hope you had a great time on Friday. -
That's great. Thanks a lot!

I found the email with batch numbers in my junk folder. Apparently i'm batch 5 for David on Sunday. Can anyone advise where to pick up the Diamond Passes from? I see that the free gift is collected from the Sales Desk on first floor but am assuming that is not where you collect the Pass itself? Thanks.

Ooh Frank was excellent as Martin in V. Great announcement. -
When I bought my Diamond Pass for David in March, there were no batch numbers on it at all lol. It's all been a bit of a mess seemingly. I think the hope is that the physical diamond pass itself will have the Batch number on it when you pick it up (or they can tell you the batch number at the info desk) and you go with that. You'll definitely only get one photo per pass though. They normally stamp or clip the pass when you use it for auto or photo to prevent any duplication. As for which photo shoot, it's definitely the standard one with the pass (not the green screen photos for Angel or Bones which are not included in the diamond pass). I hope some of that is helpful.

David Boreanaz Sunday Diamond Pass, Marina Sirtis and probably a couple of Dr Who guests. Really it's David B I'm excited to meet, as I've met all of the other Angel cast over the last 20 years (apart from Glenn Quinn for obvious reasons) and had to take the opportunity to finally meet him. I was extremely lucky to have seen Andy Hallett twice when he came over to the UK for conventions 20 years ago, the second time he wasn't supposed to travel (due to his first heart attack making him very weak), but he came over anyway because he didn't want to let anyone down, and he loved meeting the fans so much. He was a lovely guy, based on those 2 weekends. Taken from us much too young

Latest Guest Announcement - DAVID BOREANAZ
sirjim replied to showmasters's topic in London Film & Comic Con 2024
Up to batch 5 in the Diamond Pass when I bought mine this weekend, so I suspect they may sell out in the near future. Also, they've fixed the batch selection in the shop now (it just says Diamond Pass and lists the batches). However, there's what looks like another glitch as you have to select batch numbers for 4 other named guests before you can order. You don't actually get tickets for them though. I have started rewatching Angel and reminiscing about the Heathrow cons from 15+ years ago. Great times, great weekends, great guests. Andy Hallett was a wonderful guy and loved spending time with the fans. I can't wait for July! -

Vic and Wendy are both lovely guests and have endless great stories to tell. Highly recommend meeting them both. Last time I met them was when Vic was signing his reissued book (also highly recommended).
