  1. You can also still buy the Early Entry Weekend package... Why not the single entry then?
  2. It's strange because you can still buy the Family Early Entry ticket - I just added it to my basket to check :-/
  3. Disappointed the Group D photo with Bronson is on Sunday. I tend to buy silver just for getting all photos done on Saturday & leaving Sunday free to roam. Still, you can't please everyone I guess.
  4. I don't think it's disrespectful to voice disappointment or an opinion. By and large, the people who post on here are very complimentary of ME/SM and have demonstrated their continuous support by purchasing tickets for this event over the last few years. The calibre of guests *has* declined somewhat while the ticket price has risen. Most of us aren't made of money (especially when a lot of us attend several ME/SM cons in the year) so this is a difficult thing to remain supportive of. But we continued to do so because promises were being made, or heavily hinted at and, because we have maintained that support (a lot of us from the very beginning, my friends and I have attended since ET1) we had faith that we would not be disappointed. A lot of us here had decided that we would only purchase tickets for ET7 if the guest list matched our expectations (and not the big three, my biggest hope for an awesome guest list would be people that play characters I am already invested in - i.e. not someone only on screen for a few minutes - and people I have not met before) but we had an apple dangled in front of us and we bit. Perhaps then, if people want to vent a little then that's okay and perfectly normal. We will probably all still have a good time but that doesn't mean people don't have the right to be upset. I know organisers don't like negative comments on their forums and sometimes censor things but I hope they can understand where this is coming from. I don't think ME/SM have been deliberately negligent here, and I doubt that anyone else believes that they haven't tried to secure guests. But, I do think Twilight has become far bigger than SM/ME now and, as I've stated in a previous post, it was unfair to hype up this event before anyone had the absolute authority to do so. It *is* "swings and roundabouts" in terms of finances and whatnot but that's not quite the issue here. Some people feel duped and, indirectly or unintentionally, we have been a little bit.
  5. As far as I can tell from reading through all these comments, nobody has accused SM/ME of lying, just of over-hyping an event when really the 'official' announcement should have been saved for when it actually was official. It *was* strongly hinted that being the 'Official Twilight Convention' would secure the bigger guests due to contractual obligations and, in hindsight, that was an unfair thing for SM/ME to do because, clearly, it has caused a bit of controversy. The last ET was, as always, fun. But, I have to admit, it was fun because I'm there with my friends. The same friends that I often have fun with at weekends for a fraction of the cost! The guests, no matter how unknown, are always lovely. Nobody is disputing that. But, honestly, the majority of us don't spend these large sums of money to meet the character who is on screen for five minutes (or, as is the case for some past guests, two minutes). It's nice to meet them, it really is, but nice is a weak word when meeting some of the bigger guests (not even the big three, as others have also said on here) would be BLOODYAMAZINGFANTASTICAWESOMEOMG. And, although not grammatically correct, that is the big difference. I hate to be cynical because (I really can't stress this enough because I don't want to seem like this is a big moan) I do have a blast at ET but it could be construed that the 'official' announcement was deliberately made prematurely to boost ticket sales. I'm sure SM/ME are working very hard to secure this status, but I can't help but feel it might have been because of the weak line up of the last ET (weak in terms of big star power and/or repeated guests, not weak in terms of perfectly pleasant people). We are all waiting with baited breath and desperate hope for SM/ME to come good. It seems to me that nobody is attacking the organisers, just suggesting that they shouldn't have gotten our hopes up (again and again). Looking forward to the next guest announcements, but hoping this won't be my last ET xxx
  6. I am satisfied with how it ended. I understand that people want answers to every little thing that ever happened ever, but I don't think that was ever what we were going to get with Lost. This show depended on confusion and knocking us sideways. If everything was explained and tied up in a neat bow then what's left to think about? It reverberates inside your head and keeps you wondering and the finale delivered that, I feel. It was consistent with the last six years. I feel like I know enough, but there's still things left for me to ponder for myself, which I think is the sign of a tv show that respects the intelligence and imagination of their audience. There was an element of cheese to the flash sideways explanation *but* it was beautifully done, and still left confusion as, just for a second, you are completely sure that they've actually done the 'they were always dead' theory before going 'ahhhh, I see.' I feel sorry for those that think the finale cheated them out of the satisfying, all -laid-out-on-the-table ending that they were expecting. But you can never please everyone. I'm sure if the writers had used what precious little time they had to explain EVERYTHING then I would be on here having a whinge that they neglected to honour the characters and the journey we've gone on with them in favour of trying to tell us too much. But that's just me. And I can't wait to buy the complete series and watch it from the beginning. P.S. DavidB - I wept as soon as Flocke spotted the paw prints! So happy to see Vincent :-P And I am in love with Ben's ending. I'm really glad that he was 'fulfilled', as it were, but not quite ready to join them.
  7. Well, I will be 30 by this con (*sob* won't think about that) but will attend with my mum who will be 63. Does she win?? If so, I won't tell her. No reason to upset her unnecessarily!!
  8. I was really glad to see some kind of 'shape' forming in this episode. I must confess, I've been concerned that, halfway through the last ever season, nothing had been answered and too many new things were being introduced. I have been enjoying this season (but it's Lost, I always do), especially the Ben and Sawyer episodes and I think the alternate path/universe is inspired (so this is what they might've been without Jacob?? Maybe??) but I was a little worried. Was so pleased to see Richard getting a full episode, and so glad that it was wonderful (still think I prefer Ben's though). Will now banish concerns and look forward to whatever the last half of the season bring. The lists that the others used to have finally make sense, so I have faith that more things will too!
  9. I would actually pass out if Michael Sheen were to be announced. He was perfect as Aro, exactly as I pictured when I read New Moon. But then, I knew he would be because he's a legend, even if loads of people whinged about his casting at first I think they've been proven wrong. I hope he's not too famous for something like this (crossing every available body part now).
  10. You're obviously not completing all the required fields - you have to fill every box fully and properly. Full address details are required, not just house numbers and post codes etc. I am already a member to the site so my address was in the system and I was just clicking 'Next'. However, I clicked 'change delivery address' (even though I wasn't) and filled it in and THEN it finally took me to credit card details. However, I have realised that I am completely stupid and filled in full address except didn't put in street name (I panicked! Have gone all hot with worry! I did this before with a photoshoot and emailed with my order number and was told it was fine, you could put this in the system. Can I do this again? Sorry, again, I was very gahhhhh! about it and I can't find a way to re-enter my address.
  11. Please help, I'm stuck in a loop. Have 2 Gold Tickets in shopping list, I transferred them to basket and am on page confirming address. When I press 'Next' it takes me to this same page so I can't get to credit card info page. What am I doing wrong?? I've entered ticket holder details and followed all instructions. Panicking now!
  12. Some of these lists are very impressive! Mine are in my signature, they are people I've either had a photo with or got an autograph in person.
  13. And this comment: Err..not creepy sounding nooo.. See THIS is where things go into obsessive stalker mode, when your sitting outside their hotel to watch them come or go. Those who are saying their doing the tour so its working, yeah they may be working some of the time during the day, but its evening, and their place of rest, so if people cant leave them alone while their in their own hotel, are they just supposed to be hounded continuously all weekend 'because their on the tour and we wanna see them' If you've ever been to see a famous person outside a hotel it's not at all creepy. It's not their house. When they leave or go in to the hotel they are coming or going from work. This is a work related trip. Meeting fans is part of their job and I've never met one famous person that has seemed begrudging of that. Usually they are pleased that you've made the effort because this is one time where you get to actually speak to them. Not just stand there and watch them with binoculars in a long trench coat. Obviously we won't agree on this, but I think you are dirtying the idea of people just simply wanting to meet their 'heroes' (pardon the pun), and there is nothing sordid about that.
