Hope you have a good holiday, its a shame you dont come this year hopefully you can make it to Collectormania London im sure there be some great guests there as well. If not please try it next year they need more people to keep it running. Oh I will have a good one and I will def. look into attendig LFCC next year. Or Collectormania.

I actually prefer the one themed cons. That is just me, that said i have not tried the types of Collectormania or LFCC of course but I do still like the themed cons. I will definetly try to go to the LFCC one time though to see how that is like. Of course it depends on the guests, I'd gone this year but I got too much going on this year to afford this one.

I know this isn't Jola's job but does anyone know what we do with the hotel booking (booked at Northampton Park Inn for this event). Do I call the hotel myself or will this be arranged by SM/ME too? True I esp agree with you with all the events they got lined up. Too much in too short time. Something has to suffe :-( As for phoning them or emailing, they are currently AT some event I think so they won't answer anything on the phone me thinks. Time will tell if we get any answer regarding the status of this convention. I just hope we get an answer soon.

I am anxious to hear about the status of this event too but we do not know all the stuff that goes on behind the scenes. They may still have HOPES to pull this off and thus won't say much untill there is no turning back. Yes I know time is running out for many regarding buying train tix, flights or whatever you need to get there. I need to know soon too cos of flights. Still it hasn't put me off going to any future events. I am going to the Eternal Twilight 2 convention and those tix have already been sent out (gold and silver for now first then standard ones soon). So they clearly are well organized. It just seems to when it comes to a Lost related event as this too is they seem cursed :-(. I hope they can pull it off...I really do.

EEEEEEEK NOOOO NOT THE NUMBERS!!! *runs around screaming in panic*

The cab story did get blown out of proportions though, it wasn't FANS who caused this but the security did rush him out into the street with ongoing traffic. The fans there did follow them but not running like these nutters this past Monday. HOWEVER a paparazzi got really pesky and tried to snap pics of him. Yes he was grazed by a cab and it COULD have gotten ugly, thankfully it wasn't but this time the fans were not to blame, this was security/Paparazzi and the security guy who yelled at the fans apologized later. I got this from reports from fans who were there on when this happened. The gossip sites made this out bigger than it was. Still the security issue is a concern, what happened on Monday should NOT have happened. Certainly not on the set. I blame the INSANE fans for this but yesterday's incident could have happened to anyone. Being grazing by a car can happen if you don't pay attention in traffic. So I would blame the security and paparazzi on this, not fans.

From what i read on another topic not that far from here hotel should be proceeding to a refund in case of an event cancellation but i guess it's still safer to check with the hotel directly as only someone from the hotel itself will be able to tell you and hopefully reassure you... There has been so many worries and concerns since a few days... and still no answer from SM/ME... i respect SM for what they have accomplished and for having allowed most of us to meet people we could have never think we would meet one day, but come on, that lack of communication from SM/ME is just giving the feeling they just don't care about people's concerns... I can't get it... Reading the posts on here about all those people waiting for news to make plans before it's too late, they should realize their event is going straight to the wall if they're not reacting fast now... That's a shame they didn't yet, keeping posting new guests announcements for other events (which means they're online at some point) but not posting a single word in this event forum since months! Thanks for the info, sounds about right about the hotel yes :-D As for the "lack" of response from SM/ME I do recall we were as eagerly awaiting info on discount for those who attended the Lockdown convention and even though it took some time before that was sorted it DID get sorted. So I have still hope that they will sort out all the concerns here too. I can understand the frustration and concern from ppl of course but for now I have faith they WILL sort this out soon. Atleast I hope so! Who knows we may be flooded with loads of guest info..lol. I dunno just trying to cheer up the mood. (cheer up myself too lol).

I'm also anxiously awaiting for any hints on what is going on too..only 1 guest (not that I complain about the guest! Michael Emerson is brilliant!) announced and less than 2 months away. I won't be booking flight yet but can't wait TOO much longer. So I am worried if this thing wil be cancelled? IF cancelled will we get a full refund from our hotelbooking as it has to be cancelled too if this con doesn't happen? I sure hope so! (Although that is not SM/ME's department, that has to be taken up with the hotel of course!).

I got gold programme ticket and staying at Park Inn.

As much as I would LOVE to see Rob there I doubt it will happen. One thing I would dread was the intense screaming from some girls...and he WOULD be mobbed thru the entire weekend. So I doubt he'll be there. IF he did I doubt he'd stay in the same hotel as the con is as well. Simply cos he would be MOBBED, constantly. Poor guy.

But a plastic one would be ok wouldn't it? I still think it is ok though to check with the airline first yeah :-).

Thanks, I need to fit into it properly though as it is per date I am abit er..too big for it but by the time of ET2 I should be down to that size without any problem, since I am short too I may have to have it fitted length wise too. Either way I am happy I got it :-D. Just need the stockings and some headband in the 1920's style and I am all set lol. Sooo that means once I get down to the right size...I got these costumes all sorted for these party themes lol. Just got minor details to fill in here and there and I am pretty much sorted!!

Well I decided to go with my Jovi baseball shirt, so it isn't twilight related but it is a baseball shirt! I can't afford buying costumes just for a one off thing lol.

I won the bid on ebay for this dress: I got shoes and just need to get the right stockings for it, I already know what kind I want hehe.

I got a nice dress I wore at a wedding a couple of years ago, bought at Debemams or however you spell that store's name lol, but it depends if I can fit into it as I was slimmer then, if not I'll have to try on one of my other dresses but they are short ones, No cape or masks yet though. But with the links I have seen here for masks I don't think THAT will be a huge problem hehe.

I am bidding on a fringed flapper dress with a siggy holder on Ebay..if I win this, atleast ONE costume is sorted lol
