The Doctors Assistant
Hi folks, it appears I've worked out what the themes will be for LFCC up to the 2023 event. And no doubt Showmasters will look and go 'god thats what we're thinking of doing'. Here it goes: Next Year 2016-Will be the 40th Anniversary celebrations of Rocky and The Muppets which I expect will be the primary theme. Its also 50 years of Star Trek so they want to throw in a few Star Treks or into another convention other celebratory themes being of 30 years of Pixar and 20 Years of Scream 2017-This will be the big Star Wars theme being 40 years here along with a Harry Potter theme as its 20 Years of HP. Into the same convention or the others it's also 20 years of Buffy 2018-Will be the long awaited Charmed reunion being here in its twentieth year. The other primary theme will be of Blakes 7(40 Years!). Red Dwarf will be celebrating its 30th anniversary which could be incorporated here 2019-We have had a few Alien guests this year but here it will reach its 40 Years mark which I imagine will be hugely celebrated, along with some Marvel guests as its 80 Years of Marvel 2020-I struggled with working out the primary theme for this one but it could be 20 years of Scary Movie? 2021-One of Robin Williams' greatest movies Hook came into our world back in 1991 so it will be a big theme surrounding this film and his other films 2022-Are you ready for James Bond in its 60th anniversary? 2023-And most-loved Disney will reach its 100th anniversary since Walt opened his studio and started making films back in 1923. This should be a sell-out, also along with plenty of Dr Who's (yes 60 Years!) and some Jurassic Park guests (30 years) I am aware that a number of people believe next years theme will be primarily a big Star Wars theme. But it won't be, it's a year before its 40th Celebrations, and y would Showmasters want to celebrate a year early? Yes, the new movies coming out, but that won't mean there will be a huge SW theme coming up, not at least until 2017, just because another con before LFCC is doing a Star Wars theme next year!

The Doctors Assistant
Space: 99 Theme-Possibly 45 years in the 2020 one, or the Primary Theme of 2025 being 50 years? Battlestar Galactica I expect will be incorporated as a 40 Years theme into one of the other Cons of 2018, plus maybe a few shoved into the main LFCC of that year? And the 2024 LFCC's Primary Theme will be 40 Years of V? Thanks Spacecadet!!
The Doctors Assistant
No no no I've just seen one of the Showmasters moderators saying its definitely likely a Star Wars theme next year. Y would they want to do a big Star Wars theme a year early, or is it just the Spring one which is big Star Wars theme as opposed to the July one??? ... Queen_Sindel
That was me and yes, the Spring LFACC is Star Wars centered. Star Wars themes will pop up regularly because Jason is a a big Star Wars fan.
