Showmasters Admin showmasters Posted March 30, 2010 Showmasters Admin Share Posted March 30, 2010 We are pleased to announce our next guest for London Film and Comic Con LEE TOWNSEND Lee is currently inking for DC Comics, 2000ad, Panini, and drawing storyboards for a upcoming live action Sci-Fi film. He started in the comic industry in 1992 drawing childrens comics, after this he spent several years working in the animation industry for Disney and Dreamworks. He then returned to comics which was always his first love, working for Marvel UK (Spectacular Spiderman, X-men, Hulk and Avengers) and 2000ad (Judge Dredd and Sinister Dexter), DC and Image Comics. XLcatloveress Posted July 20, 2010 Share Posted July 20, 2010 Mr. Townsend was another very nice and chatty comic guest who carried on a lengthy conversation with me after he had asked me where in the States I was from and I told him that no, only my accent was from Rochester NY whereas I myself was actually from Germany *chuckles* He didn't have a queue waiting at the time, so I think we chatted for about half an hour He also drew me a sketch of Cyclops and Wolverine facing off that turned out beautifully and that I'll be treasuring :) He was an absolute pleasure to meet, remembered my face when I returned to pick up my sketch, personalized his signature very sweetly and was one of the many highlights of my very first Film and Comic Con.
