Costs of fri/sat night parties anyone?

My 1st time at a trek event. I figured as it's 50yrs anny, best do it now.

 

I really just want to spend the weekend with my fellow trekky people. So, can anyone tell me what they paid last time for party entry tickets? And how long the opening ceremony is on for ish?

This info will help me decide whether to buy the lieutenant ticket or just buy separate tickets for stuff. Friday Saturday night party is the most important part for me.

If I recall the party tickets were £25 per night. In 2012,not worth the price but in 2014...AN AMAZING TIME!!! 😆

£25 per night, or £40 for both. I also agree the Saturday night one was great fun last time. Hope they have got a good location this time round.

I believe the opening ceremony was 90 minutes in 2014.

I assumed party would be at the nec, but if not, it's a hike back to Solihull or City centre from there. I hope they put a bus on for us. If not, it will need to be at one of the nearby hotel function rooms... If we knew which hotel. I could book a room at the right place! :)

Solihull would be good, would be nice to return to where I spent the first 19 years of my life. Provisionally booked my hotel there too.
