Bentayuk
I've been a musician/music teacher for years now, and for a laugh was considering the idea of forming a sc-fi/tv show themed band to play events etc.... But I was wondering what kind of themes etc... we could play, any ideas? Please, any ideas people!
alisonloub
Well 80's tend to go down a storm, especially with 'geek' weddings on the rise, I think it would be very cool to have an 80's themed wedding with a good geek band! (although, this would never happen we don't have the right family for this, hence why we are going to gracelands with the boys todo it!)
Bentayuk
Yeah, I suppose it doesn't have to be totally media themed, but I was thinking along the lines of: The Buffy Theme by Nerf Herder The Firefly Theme 'I Want To Do Bad Things To You' - Tru Blood Theme But, I could mix these themes in with actual songs related to popular films, like 'Power Of Love' by Huey Lewis & The News (Back To The Future) 'Red Right Hand' by Nick Cave (Scream) 'You Could Be Mine' by GnR (T2) 'Little Light Of Love' by Eric Serra (Fifth Element) I'm just trying to think up ideas really. Zonic
That would be pretty awesome. obviously the favorite themes of star trek and star wars should be covered. Then i'd add power of love from back to the future and the ghostbusters theme.
