Latest Guest Announcement: Vic Mignogna

 

Vic has been acting for stage and screen since he was 8 years old. But he started his career in anime about ten years ago as Vega in Streetfighter II. Since then Vic has been in more than a hundred shows, known for such roles as Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist, Tamaki Suou in Ouran Highschool Host Club, Fai in Tsubasa Chronicle, Ikkaku in Bleach, Yukito in Air, Takanaga in Wallflower, Dark in DN Angel, Kurz in Full Metal Panic, Broly in Dragonball Z, Kougaijji in Saiyuki, Tatsu in Peacemaker, Virgil Walsh in Trinity Blood, Hikaru in Macross and many more. Vic has also voiced roles in a large number of video games including Soul Calibur, Disgaea, Persona III, Project Sylpheed, DBZ, Bleach, FMA and more. He sings the themes for shows like One Piece & DBGT, and has produced several CDs of his own original music. Vic has a degree in film and works regularly writing, producing and directing video and film productions.

 

we are hopping that the release of the second half of Ouran Highschool Host Club may be around that time, so perhaps we can have a screening and live commentary for the fans, more to come on this nearer the time

I'm a bit concerned about this... are we sure that Vic is definately coming? According to a few of my friends that he's confirmed for a different event and have not heard from showmasters at all...

 

And that the complete Ouran High School series is out already, there isn't a second season planned as of yet - if it is going to happen...

I don't think there is any cause for concern. A guest would not be announced by SM if he/she has not been signed up to appear. To do so would potentially open the door to legal issues. Guests are not always aware of future events. Their agent/manager simply may not have informed them of it yet.

 

Official (and non-official) websites are a bit hit and miss when it comes to appearance listings, and are rarely 100% accurate. Sometimes no announcement is ever made on the website. On other occasions the website makes the announcement before the organiser. I have even seen an instance of a website showing the guest attending an event that had not even been discussed, let alone announced as happening.

Well its just that he has been confirmed as a guest at a con in the states that are having a FMA reunion gathering, he has been contacted and confirmed by that event - we have discussed this over on the fanclub's forum... and Mr Mignogna has replied that showmasters have not contacted him at all about this

we have been informed that Vic has double booked him self and made a mistake when agreeing to attend this date so he cannot attend this event we will talk to hem about attending other events in the future with us .

 

sorry about this and we will be looking for another guests to attend to replace him .
