I havent been to proper convention like this before but i am going to the twilight prom but all my mates brought standard so i did the same. If you know what you get with each package then it's really up to you. Do you need closer seating in the talks? Do you need to go to the wine reception with the guests? Do you really want an exclusive t-shirt? If those three are really important to you, and worth £60 more then go for a Gold. Are you going to want a photo shoot with every guest no matter who it is? If that's the case, then Silver is great, but if there's only a couple of guests you'd actually want a photo shoot with then just go with Standard and buy the shoots additionally. Personally I don't think the talk seating matters a whole lot. Everyone enjoys them wherever they sit - unless, say some people REALLY want to take good photos, they want to sit near the front.
