mcgill
Hello We've been having a discussion on another thread regarding sources for photos. This centered around Rex. I thought it would be useful to have a separate thread where we can discuss or just list sellers of photos. Here are some of the websites I use: www.moviemarket.com (prices are generally £3.99 for a 10x8 but as I write this they have 20% all prices) http://www.rexfeatures.com/ (prices seem to be just under £10 per 10x8) sells a huge range of images. Mirrorpix - which is pics from The Mirror - also have a large database of all sorts of photos. Prices used to be £10 each 10x8, but I think this was reduced recently to something more like £5. http://www.mirrorpix.com/fotoweb/home.fwx There's a company called Still Krazy - who have had a website but this doesnt seem to be operating currently. They sell under that name on ebay. They have a lot of very classic film stars (i.e. British and Hollywood golden era - 30s - 70s). Stateside Stills are often at Showmasters events: http://www.statesidestills.com/ They tend to specialise in current TV and film.

mr fagan
WHAT THE HELL? £10 FOR ONE 10X8? WERE NOT TRYING TO BUY CRACK COCAINE!! just seems a bit steep well downright vertical actually. Ill stick to sellers who offer them £10 for 3.
SunSpeed
No complaints about this thread so far, which is good. Thank you for starting the thread mcgill. Regarding £10 for one photo..for Olga Bisera that isn't too bad, as it was explained in another thread that 8x10 photos of her are hard to find. mcgill
Hello Worth pointing out that the stock available via the main Rex Features site is not necessarily available via the Rex Store. This means that prices for those on the Rex Features site can, apparently (from a conversation a friend of mine had with them), vary between £10 and several thousand pounds... Hello A further clarification - if you e-mail them saying you want to make some private purchases, they send you a form to fill out. 10x8s cost £20. PaulWeston
www.starframers.com US company, so at £3.65 a photo ($5.99) plus intenational postage £5.50 ($9) for 1-25 photos - it's not the cheapest option. But they do have photos that nobody else does. Edited August 12, 2009 by PaulWeston
