The govenment is planning to ban all swords of any kind. This will effect all cosplayers and martial artists. Please sign if you think you could be effected by this. There is only a few days remaining and there needs to be more signers. I've signed.

Are we turning into an american nation now (no offence to Americans, of course)? For the love of cheese... Over there they use scare tactics to pass stupid laws and make excuses for invading other countries... Arg!

This is rediculous. The law at the moment says that you cannot even handle a sword outside of your own property (sp) unless you have a permit or you have permission (i.e. for festivals, film making, martial arts training, etc). That's good enough, surely? When the heck was the last time that anyone heard of someone being hurt badly, let alone killed by a sword in this country?! *Sigh*.
