You'd probably be able to share a room in a hostel with six or more strangers for about between £10 and £20 a night, but not near EC. There are a few around Picadilly Circus and elsewhere in central London.

As with the other recent polls, it's fascinating to think that some of these people would even entertain a signing, albeit with financial and other restrictions. Personally I would probably want to "meet" them all, even at the prices stated (Met GB a few times already, luckily). Having said that, I just have no interest at all in any autograph that wasn't signed in front of me, and I can imagine that personalisations (which I also tend to insist upon) would be unlikely. So in answer to the question as asked, I almost certainly would not buy from any such private signing, no matter how reputable, or what provenance was offered.

But given that SM are running polls to gauge opinion on other matters, feel free to express a preference / opinion.

What he said !!With a side of Karl Urban (also LOTR, slowcoach !!) £75 for Quinto is downright offensive. At least Orlando Bloom has has a kind of a career outside a well established franchise, fans of which meet ANY main cast from. With that in mind, everyone else is roughly proportionate to their fame / notoriety, but they must, must, MUST personalise (if required, obviously), and you must, must, must MEET them - not watch your stuff being signed while you are third from the front. If these prices are what it takes to meet the various guests, then let's go for it. I know those that frequent stage doors and film premieres (very) regularly will be sniffy about big money for people they have probably met loads of times, but I need a controlled environment where I'm guaranteed to add them safely to a multi-signed poster, and not risk damaging it. #prioritiseianholm Muppet !

Yes, I do, but if they're during the day I'm probably working. There were quite a few announcements today, and I usually prefer to tweet things in the evenings when more people are around anyway. You'll notice Wolf's announcement is on there. Well at least you tweeted all the Glasgow announcementS yesterday evening . And yes, tweeting should always be done at UK peak time, as opposed to asap. You KNOW this show (and it's locals) are screaming out for exposure / support ! Glasgow's the poor relation yet again !

I've had a few perspex and ceramic things (yes I know that's not glass) signed in black sharpie, and it was a waste of time - lasted a fortnight. Metallic sharpie should be ok if you give it a good 30 mins plus to dry to be on the safe side, and wrap it in a soft towel to get it home. Although I like the sound of these glass pens .... And if anyone's interested, it was a clear perspex trophy / plaque for Red Dwarf's 10th anniversary, signed by Doug Naylor, and a green ceramic teapot, signed by Pauline McGlynn (Mrs Doyle in Father Ted) who added my name, and "would you like a cup of tea ? Ah go on !"
