I swear mine think mummy has gone crazy. "Mummy, why you on your pooter?" - Faith, aged three, this morning. "Mummy's working princess," - which wasn't a lie about two hours ago. LOL For us "crazy Twilight fans" - that's easier said than done lol. No, seriously. We KNOW how awesome ME are and how hard they work. We just like to let you all know we are still here and VERY excited.

When you drive there, you come off the M42... in a little filter lane just for the NEC... you drive through the carparks for the NEC and the Hotel is like RIGHT there, just near the NEC.

See, we have to type something... rather than just staring at the screen in anticipation.... least if we are typing (and bugging the poo out of you lot!) it's looks as though we are doing something when we're at work/home with the kids/at the in laws/playing on our Iphones, in the cyber cafe etc. *smiles sweetly.* We know ME are working so hard for us. We're just impatient and the suspense is killing us.

See I like this outlook. I can say now you will have a fab time. You will meet some greet people fans as well as guests (not forgetting the staff). You'll get to meet cosplayers, book lovers, movie lovers and tv lovers and most of the time everyone is part of all of those. Hope you have a fab time and hopefully see you there! Hear hear!!! He may actually be really lovely dont get me wrong but I just dont wanna be paying these guys to come here hit on every female here and feel like were putting him out by getting him out of bed in the morning just to sign our autographs I get that My pals and I didn't get that opinion of him when we met and talked with him, but I've heard and seen the way he can be. I don't think he hit on me. I did get a nice hug in my photo but I'm married and a little older than him with two small children... and it's been a long time since I got hit on. He was a highlight for me. I think he'd be a laugh to go down the pub with.

It's hard to say how the event is going to go yet as there's still time for things to turn around. We need to be positive - the weekend is going to be fantastic. We're going to spend three days with like minded people, in a beautiful location and great guests. The themed parties are fab. I know there is a lot of crap going around, people having mixed opinions on what's happening etc, but no matter what guests come, it's going to be amazing. the FOUR guests who are currently on the website and confirmed, and they've been confirmed since ET4 in October, ( I know things happen and they can pull out etc, but thats not what Im talking about) - so it's not like people are moaning about the actual guests... it's the upcoming guests. I for one am every excited. Can't wait.

The "standard guest room" I saw was pretty basic... pretty much like what you would get in a Holiday Inn or something... not horrible, but certainly not as nice as the deluxe. I worked in the hotel indrustry for years before having my children and £80 for a twin/double even for a very basic room is great. We are very lucky that the con-goers get offered the deluxe rooms for the special rate first as they're very nice. It's always worth, also, if you are planning on coming to more cons and staying at the Hilton, to sign up for the Hilton Honors programme. Its free to join and you collect points which give you free nights. The pointing system is pretty generous as well (depending on the rate you're paying). xxx

AGREED I am SUPER excited about ET5 and it upsets me with the amount of negativity. Of course I am DESPERATE to hear who they have in store for us, I dont mind who it is, because the weekend for me, isn't just about the guests. I LOVE the atmosphere, the amazing friends I've made... the themed parties... I love the fact that I get the time to be ME for the weekend... without my husband and kids... to see my friends, to eat and drink... oh GOD I am excited. Massive Events - I think you are doing a super job... although I think you are mean making us wait for guest announcements

I am really looking forward to meeting Jodelle, she's such a sweet actress... I was upset when she and Alex had to pull out of ET4 due to filming, but I was MADE UP when they were both going to be at ET5 :-) I've heard that Daniel and Mike are both awesome guys, both fun loving, friendly - so really the line up is perfect. Can't wait to find out who else we have. Personally, if I can't have Rob and Kristen, the next people I'd like to meet would be Liz and Billy Burke - but if I am honest, anyone would be great. The atmosphere of the weekend is going to be amazing. Can't wait :-)

If log in online with the Hilton, you can change the name over on the booking, but it would still be guaranteed on the debit or credit card you used when you reserved the room initially.

I did!!! - I just wrapped it in a couple of paper napkins and put it in my bag, then put it in my room for later... along with my babybells, banana (and perhaps a little blueberry muffin also)... I figured I might as well have my way with the breakfast... I'm sure some people ate what I took in one sitting. I struggle to eat first thing, esp when I'm horribly hungover - so I had some bacon and eggs etc and took the rest to eat later. And it was lovely. Here's to the Hilton for doing the best Full English and Continental breakfasts in the whole wide world.

Why am I not surprised you've posted in this thread Cathy Seriously though the breakfast IS the best thing about the weekend. Especially if you, uhm, 'borrow' Babybels and Nutella to take to your room with you. Snacks for the day = sorted! ...I wish I could say I'm joking. I am SO glad that I wasn't the only one who was thieving the baby bells. I might have walked off with a crossiant as well on the Saturday morning. I am hungry just thinking about it. Wish it would be February already!
