He's a pretty good guest! I've only recently watched firefly so im not jumping out of my seat as if it were a Buffy or Angel guest. But I really happy to meet him aaand hes fit lol

I'm hopeful that HW3 will have a great guest turn out. Hallowhedon keeps getting more attendees each year, so given that Showmasters must surely be able to afford more guests or more expensive guests each time? I'm hopeful for a couple more guests (at least? (extra hopeful)) Given that a large part of the convention is wanting to listen to the guests talk, Showmasters must be aware that a good variety is needed in order to mix them up with one another, to keep the talks fresh and exciting each time for us and the guests. Now the theme has been announced I'm constantly checking for guest updates too. Not that i wasn't already, hah.

Of course :) the idea behind the theme is from Angel season 2 episode 12 'Blood Money' i believe, if you want to watch it from some ideas.

At last! It's pretty flexible in terms of dress code, so either way it should be good! Here's hoping for some bails of hay, haha!

Last night I had a dream that I arrived at H3 with no costume and everyone was dressed up, and I was really stressed out attempting to make an outfit for the party out of anything I could get my hands on! There were also loads of chav school kids everywhere... Was pretty close to being a nightmare really lol. Themes must surely be announced soon, for my peace of mind at least hah.

I quite like the the thought of a brown coat western, having been pondering about it. There seemed to be allot of brown coats about last year, and people wouldn't have to be any particular character, you could just play up to the western side of the theme. There is also the Gorch Brothers from Buffy who would fit in, so you could mix it up with a few vampire cowboys who ever fancy's that. The bronco could actually be a bull and bales of hay wouldn't cost much to dress the evening, even tho they are probably a fire hazard but lets ignore that part lol.

I was thinking more along the lines of the Friday themed night, rather then the Halloween night. I've got my outfit planned for that too here's the obvious and most likely previously mentioned themes slapped into one list - Prom Homecoming (more or less the same as prom) Graduation Bronze Wolfram & Heart Dolls Brown coat western

Thought this should be bumped back to the top, as there's only a few months to go and the party theme should be decided pretty soon i think. It would be nice to have the time to plan outfits, what ever they may be this time round! Just throwing another idea out there, How about a Buffy musical themed night? There could be karaoke, which was there the 1st year. people have the choice to dress up in their glitzy best or do a monster get up. Only thing is the theme might not be strongly themed enough... unless the venue has some sort of blatant musical type decor.

I like the Bronze idea, although there isn’t much dress up involved... unless people dress very 90s. Just look back to season 1 & 2 and you get the vibe of clothing, shocking but quite funny. We have Halloween night for ghosts and goblins (but I guess people could be a monster that has terrorised the Bronze in the past if they want a monster get up?) Or people could just turn up looking fab in there best frock and heels I kind of missed that last year, just having a night looking all done up and nice.

the saturday night was a much better improvment, we really had a great time. the lights were dimmed (lol) and the atmosphere was much more comfortable, everything was fun throughout the event - party, guests etc... it was just considering last years efforts on the friday night, that this friday seemd to be a let down.

the effort made tonight by SM was minimal in comparison to last year. the guests were great but the venue felt as if no one on SM behalf wanted to make much effort for anyone one came to the event, and a few others felt the same. I really hope that SM are holding out all the stops for tomorrow night. at least dim the lights please.

woop woop! i thought we would get another guest im going to to even more optimistic and hope for another guest. why not eh.

awsome, a great guest to meet and i think he and ASH will do well if put in a talk together. I'd love to hear anything they have to share with their time working on buffy together.

I brought my buffy poster that i've had for god knows how many years to be signed last year, and im bringing it back this year, as im hopeing to collect lots of autographs on it and have it framed.

I said depends on the guests! I still live in the hopes that there will be one or two more guests that will be announced for HW2. If they pull through on this one I almost deffinetly will be getting my HW3 ticket asap.
