Personally i think yer all easy pleased, but enjoy the glasgow show if thats yer bag. It is a backwater and it IS low key stars. If someone doesnt watch buffy or angel they wont know who they are. William Shatner for example is HOUSEHOLD name, you know who he is whether yer a trek fan or not. Thats yer difference. And for the record guys im not trying to start a fight here, just stating opinion, which a forum is for, discussion. Being the market im in, the larger traders wont come to glasgow simply because it is a low key event and doesnt have anywhere near the same revenue. Go to london..money better spent.

personally i go to these events armed with a chunky wallet cos thats what its about, spending money on collectibles and meeting stars. Id pay like £350 for harrison ford as its a special signature, lets face it. Im VERY pleased william shatner is comming as ive been a trekkie all my life. Im a big comicbook fan and would very much like bigger comicbook stars such as john wagner, geoff johns and the legendary stan lee. Stan does all the u.s comic conventions, would LOVE to see him at london, the guy is comicbook royalty! So yea depending on the guest id pay handsomely, for stan lee absolutly!! but id never pay for the '3rd stormtrooper to the left' type autograph!

Glasgow always gets low key guests. Sorry but its true, we are treated like a backwater. Ive had enough and wont be attending this year. Instead im spending my loot to go to the london film and comic-con where the guests are worthy of their autograph fees. Last years biggest star was robert picardo, london has william shatner. NO CONTEST!! ATTENDANCES IN SCOTLAND WILL CONTINUE TO DWINDLE UNLESS BETTER GUESTS ARE THERE!
