  1. I'm going to C15 for the Star Trek guests, so I'm hoping to get Leonard, Avery, Andrew and John. Ideally, I'd like a photo shoot and an autograph from each, but I'm flexible at a push. Are there no photoshoots whatsoever on Friday? If so, then that's really going to throw a spanner in the works. Although, that's assuming that all of the guests have a 'No Photo' policy. Can anybody confirm this please? Would this apply for the entire day?
  2. Actually, that sounds familiar. If memory serves, last time I was at Euston, there were 2 trains to MK, about 5 minutes apart. One took about an hour, but the other took about half the time. But the fast train needed a different ticket of some kind I think? Could somebody possibly clarify?
  3. Well, I live near Clapham, so I'd just grab the train to Victoria, then the Underground to Euston and then change to get to MK. I did once see a train that went direct, but it stopped everywhere.
  4. Clapham. I usually take the train to London Victoria, and then then undergound to Euston. From there to MK
  5. My main ambition for C15 is to meet Leonard Nimoy, as there's only a meagre chance that he'll be coming back to the UK for a long time. If I'm not mistaken, he'll be there on all days, right? If so, then I'll be heading off to see him on Friday. It strikes me that, given that there's a recession on, not many people would be able to attend on a workday. I live in London, so I'll probably need to be up at the crack of dawn if I want to be there for about 11ish. Usually, I like to have a browse around the stalls first before I head to meet any of the stars, but I'm willing to bet that I'll need to grab a ticket the second the bus arrives because he'll be the hot topic for the event. And of course, he'll probably be so swamped that it'll be a 6 second meet and greet before moving along to the next guy. But even so I wouldn't mind because it'd just be great to meet him in person.
  6. BATTLESTAR GALACTICA Edward James Olmos James Callis Anybody who knows these names would faint if they were announced, myself included
  7. So, there's a few guests I'd absolutely love to see, but nobody ever seems to mention them. J.K. Simmons would be top of my list. Most people probably know him as Mr. Jameson from Spiderman, but I'm more interested in a show he did back in '97 called Oz John Di maggio. He was the voice of Bender in Futurama. He's also done some video game stuff. Since Billy West was at a collectormania not too long ago, I figure he might be a nice addition. Armin Shimmerman. I was very disappointed to learn that he'd cancelled at this year's LFCC, so if he could be re-scheduled that'd be terrific. I also feel that Battlestar Galactica should have some representatives. Anybody who been watching until now knows that that show is absolutely terrific.

  9. Good news. One step closer to completing my DS9 signed dvd collection
  10. My first response would be..... AARRGGGHHHH!! My second would be that this means I can spend money on other guests
  11. Sorry - no help from me. But I'm a fan of FF cosplay so I'll keep an eye out for you
  12. I've sent you an email Kraaq
  13. As far as I can tell, Luton is my closest IKEF However, the email address provided doesn't seem to exist anymore - try it and you'll see
  14. Kraaq, I'm interested in talking to you guys about the IKEF. Could you leave me a contact address, or email. Thanks
  15. J.K. Simmons would be nice He played Vern Shillinger in the TV series Oz.
  16. It's a little-known show that features a few popular names. It's basicallyabout real prison life in the US, albeit with a few exaggerations. Here's a few guest suggestions from the show: J.K. Simmons Dean Winters Ernie Hudson Harold Perrineau Terry Kinney Eamonn Walker Rita Moreno Scott William Winters B.D. Wong Lauren Velez Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje Zeljko Ivanek Kristin Rohde Edie Falco Whitney Allen Lord Jamar Mark Margolis The actual cast was completely huge, so even this is a compiled list. It's probably impossible to have a cast reunion, but even a small number of guests would be nice. You can see everyone on www.imdb.com
  17. In the words of Jim Carrey...... Bummer
  18. I'd like tpo see Scott, but the prices he charges for convention appearances are so high that it probably won't happen. So, William Shatner would probably be my second choice. Just becuase he is the Shatner!
  19. Um, not exactly. See, I'm just a kid. By May, I'll only be 18, so I don't really have £175 to buy a Golden ticket. Also, I' m still at school, so the Friday and the Monday are off the list. Even Saturday, as we have lessons in the morning (whoever decided that should've been shot) So the only possible day I could go is the Sunday, so obviously that'd be when nearly everybody else would be going. Plus, I don't think my dad would let me spend the night at some random guy's house. So, it's down to travelling early on Sunday morning then..... Bummer
