  1. Haha, good to know :) As I said, I've never had a problem with any of the stewards before and they've always been very lovely other than that time. Looking forward to it :)
  2. I know it's difficult for you to guess cos I know you cant predict the future! But thanks for replying. I will just have to take a chance and hope that theyre not sold out by the time I get there. Im guessing the same rules apply as normal to people with disabilities? Im hoping the stewards are going to be understanding, like they usually are (not like the last LFCC I went to which was the with the Heroes guests fiasco...but we wont go into that! It's the only time I've not been treated well so I know it was a blip!) Thanks David. :)
  3. Ah ok sorry didn't see that. I do understand that you have to fit them all in. I just didnt want to get there too early because of health reasons that im not gonna go into on here!! So do you think there will still be tickets at say half 10?
  4. Awesome!! I really hope that there will still be tickets available for the photoshoot by 11am Oh crap, just seen that the shoot starts at 11... but I dont have an early bird ticket. Isn't that a little unfair?
  5. I would love to go to this but at the moment I cannot commit to paying £78 (plus hotel costs) for 2 guests. So until I hear further announcements I'll have to hold off. I do hope SM can get some more guests in time :) Good luck!!
  6. She's lovely, met her twice but not since she's been in tb
  7. Wish it wasn't so far away I would book in a hearbeat then.
  8. Not really as it gives people plenty of opportunity to save their pennies for it. If tickets went on sale much closer to the event, you'd have people saying that not enough notice was given I wasn't saying leave it to the last minute or anything. It just seemed really early. Usually it's not over a year before the con that tickets go on sale. But im guessing with the credit crunch SM want to get as much money as they can in advance. No way I can book a ticket until nearer the time though. August is too far away to know what I'd be doing. Would love to go though
  9. Aw that's amazing. I really want to go to this con but it's soooooo far away!!
  10. Hot guy/hot girl con? Please tell me that's a joke...
  11. The very helpful stewards and Nathan Fillion :)
  12. Well I ordered mine on the 24th May and so as I haven't received it yet I would expect to get my postage money out. Surely it would've arrived by now if they'd posted it. And yes they have taken postage out.
  13. I didn't get a confirmation email. But in my account there is an order number and info for my Nathan Filion photo ticket. Is that ok to bring? I guess it'll have to be because it's all I have and I ordered it before 29th May. Does that mean I'll be getting my £2 back for postage? EDIT: Just read the other post about photo tickets saying it's fine to bring that confirmation email.
  14. I only need the one...Nathan Fillion is enough for me!!
  15. I will let people know on Nathan Fillionaires that he is attending. Coincidentally, if anyone wants to join the group... http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=6946...6970&ref=ts
  16. Oh my god!! Yay!! I wasn't going to go to C15 cos not interested in any of the guests but am definitely going now!
  17. Aw this would be amazing, shame I have no idea what i'll be doing next August. It is really incredibly early to be selling tickets already!!
  18. Choosing choices 1 & 2 was sooooooooo tough.
  19. I'm writing one of my chapters of my dissertation on True Blood!
  20. I am a bit of a vampire aficionado (currently writing my Masters Dissertation on Gender Roles in Vampire Literature) and am a little worried that Twilight has pretty much ruined any chance of having a good vampire story in the near future. There now seem to be too many novels (bad ones at that), that have vampires in and are just disregarding all the legends and folklore that the tales originated from. I liked the Twilight saga (apart from BD...don't get me started ;-) but I don't think it was particularly original. I don't think this would put me off though. There are still many original vampire tales around. I urge people to read Fledgling by Octavia Butler. It's a beautifully written, original vampire novel. My main worry is that vampire fiction will become too 'popular' (and I mean it in the sense of popular fiction) and will end up becoming too trashy.
  21. I'm not really sure what constitutes A List anymore. But people who I really want to meet but never really thought I would: Sarah Michelle Gellar Eliza Dushku Jensen Ackles Jared Padalecki Kristen Bell Zach Braff David Boreanaz
  22. Shame Jasper wasn't in it much, I thought he was cute. He he. But yeah it wasn't thaaat bad.
