Is there any chance of getting Jenny Agutter back? Seems like ages since she last did an event, 2006?

The Alien 35th anniversary was this year, so we've well and truly missed the boat on that one (I was hoping we'd see Yaphet Kotto at some point this year after his previous cancellation).

I would like to see some cool behind the scenes guys: Lawrence Kasdan Norman Reynolds John Mollo Phil Tippett Dennis Muren Joe Johnson (confirmed he wants to come to a London convention on Facebook) Frank Oz has got to be a must for an Empire specific event

John Rhys Davies is free this weekend, how about making up for his recent cancellation?

I appreciate why you don't want to name this person, but can you state whether they have been in anything else significant? For instance, It would be a shame to turn up and find that they were one of the main stunt performers in James Bond and I had nothing for them to sign.

Assuming it's still free to enter, I imagine there will still be those that turn up for a free day out.

I've met him 4 times in the past and i'd still go and see him again...he didn't get much opportunity to have his usual chat at LFCC.

Did anybody get to meet Trevor? I was just wondering how he was doing.

They've only got to announce John Hurt and everyone will be happy again

Yaphet Kotto is presently attending his second US show this year, having previously cancelled a couple of years ago, surely it's time to ask him back

Has anyone used the send-in service before? I've tried e-mailing them on a couple of occasions but never got a response. How was your item handled? Was the autograph placement where you wanted it? Did they reuse your packing materials to return it? How long after the event did it take to return your item? How long did it take for your item to be returned in the event of the guest cancelling? How long for a refund in the same circumstance? I'm very fond of my items and am nervous of them somehow getting damaged in the process.

Try e-mailing them. They accept send-in items up to the Monday before the event, so you may be able to arrange something. Good luck.

I got one of the stall holders that I know to get me a VQ ticket for Carrie before the doors opened, I got number 110 and ended up seeing her at 3:30pm!! Not only were a lot of tickets exchanging hands before doors opened, but there seemed to be hundreds of gold pass holders, so her queue numbers hardly seemed to move all day. It'll probably be worse at the winter show as she's only doing the one day. This is what I was referring to in my other post above on this topic. Strange... I queued up from 7am, got in at about 9:10, got a VT for Carrie that was 127 or something like that, and met her about 1:30pm. Given Tolkeinerd's experience, how'd I manage that??? You're absolutely right, my bad. It must have been nearer 2 o'clock that I met her (only a 5 hour wait after entering). From recollection, she arrived later than scheduled at 11.30 and signed for half an hour, then went off and did photoshoots, then had lunch. She returned at 1.30pm at which time her VQ number was up to 100. Even after you got in the queue it still took half an hour to get from the pay desk to Carrie. I was just trying to forewarn people how it was in the Summer (and for clarity I arrived at 8am that morning and only came for Carrie). It could well be a lot quieter at the Winter show, I know a lot of people that were put off coming to these events after the summer (and that's people that have been coming religiously for over a decade). I would still recommend for anyone that wants her to get her this time around, it's been a long wait since her last SM appearance (she was the last cast member I needed to complete a project! When I started it I never thought she'd be the tough one).

I wouldn't count on it, once she's finished filming over here she'll head back to the states. It's been something like 8 years between her last appearance at an SM event and this summer. I'd try to get her now if you can.

With John Rhys Davies being in Belfast the following weekend (and this being the only weekend he's not attending other shows), is there any chance of getting him to London? I don't recall him being at London before, I know I met him a couple of times in Milton Keynes.

The alternative is to find a hi-res image of the photo that you want and print it yourself at a site such as photobox.co.uk

Will there definitely be a pre-order/send-in service, as the shop is already open for shows that take place after this event, but nothing for Belfast? The only reason I query it is because the organisers will technically have to carry the items over seas (albeit the Irish one).

I guess with his forthcoming Australian convention appearance Orlando Bloom has to be a contender.
