Thanks for all the lovely comments about my Lou Pine's outfit. I was really chuffed with the way it came out! Ahhhh, I think I saw you on the Sat of Collectormania wearing the Sookie flight outfit, no? Or was I hallucinating? Yeah - I wore that on the Saturday at CM17 :)

Could be much much worse, another event I go to, their background is red/dark pink tie dye!!! And when you've got dark red hair anyway, you never know where your hair finishes and the backdrop starts lol. haha! I know the exact background you're talking about. I like the blue background.. it's the twilight logo one I hate... especially when you're meeting guests for their work outside of Twilight!

I quite agree! and THIS ^!?! seriously!?!? How exactly is this embarassing? ME/SM could rush to announce party themes to keep some people happy but they may not be the best they could be *because* they've been rushed. The parties are just an extra benefit of the con, and certainly not something of which a theme would make my decision on whether I'd attend. "3 parties" should be enough to advertise.

It seems I'm the only one who doesn't care what the themes are yet. This con is nearly 3 months away. I don't know what I'm going to wear to a con this weekend yet, let alone 3 months away!!

The backup item came (after a different stupid ebay seller wasted my time & listed the wrong image with a listing!) so looks like my outfit's pretty much ready to go.... Shall be giving it a test run at CMMK this weekend

That's like 3 costume changes a day! Jason that's what I do normally at cons anyway! photshoot clothes, talk clothes and party clothes! I don't know what I'll actually be wearing when... but at least I have plenty of options :) I probably won't need to bring any Heulwen clothes though - will probably have enough Sookie clothes to be her alllll weekend

6 outfits completed... finished the top for my 7th today - just waiting for one item to turn up and that's DONE too!!

I hope I'm not seen as one of the bad guys here! I agreed with a post saying that I couldn't understand why someone who's a fan of the show wouldn't want to see the next episode regardless of whether it's been shown on UK tv or not. I didn't mean this in a bad way, I just dont understand how anyone could wait to see the next ep!!! When true blood is airing in the US I'm living on the edge of my seat and staying up super late to stream it online as it airs on HBO! But I wouldn't diss anyone who hasn't seen it cos they dont have the means to watch (eh Jo? ;D ) I was just trying to come up with a solution that would please truebies of both camps by suggesting that the last 5/10 mins of a talk be dedicated to season 4 related Qs. Last year I know that in some talks they ran out of pre-asked questions & just passed the mic around - at this point there was no way of vetting what people would ask... People could have asked season 3 questions at this point (which were to be excluded at the time) & surely would have caused more embrassment to the guests if they were then told they weren't allowed to answer, or even the question could already have spoiled it?!??! Just my twopenneth. I want everyone to enjoy bitten2 as much as loved Bitten. And trying to find a solution to what an amount of people saw as a problem previously rather than just complain about previous formats. Oh and I'm one of the people who hasn't read the books, yet there's nothing to stop people discussing them - though I'm not complaining!

When you say UK aired, do you mean terrestrial or sky channels, cos season 3 hasn't even been on Channel 4 yet, only FX... if you mean terrestrial then no-one's going to know who half the guest are! haahaahaa!!

Too Tall - would it be possible to have the last 5/10 mins of each talk where any season 4 questions could be asked and addressed? That way anyone who didn't want spoilers could leave and not hear them? Having so many cast members who have only been in season 3 + 4, it's going to limit the questions big time if we have to only stick to talking about one season....
