  1. Attaboy, Jangojohnny. Now all you need to update is your signature (with regards to John Hollis and Bill Hootkins) and you'll be back in the game...
  2. Be that as it may, I'm quite sure Mr Brown agreed to that, because when I met him a couple years back, indeed he was already in a wheelchair, he seemed to thoroughly enjoy his day out with the fans. And it's still no excuse for your comment, which lacks the respect Mr Brown deserves. I'm not trying to start a flaming discussion here, but it wouldn't hurt if you were to come back to write something along the lines of 'ok, sorry, I take it back'.
  3. Yep, have spoken to someone in Palm Springs who resided at the same elderly home as Phil did. It is a fact. Rest in peace, Phil.
  4. 'Seems so be' doesn't cut it for me, Little Obi-Wan. Do you have some sort of official source that can confirm this?
  5. A pint of water? You are forgetting who's taking you along, my friend. But hey, there is still plenty of time to book your flight...
  6. Impressive, Emperor, most impressive. You do seem to get around.
  7. As stated in a previous thread, it's SM that makes the call, not me. I just work here...
  8. While I'm not sure why you started this particular topic in the Empire Day forum, I too feel sad that Phil has passed away. I have only met him once, several years ago. But I cannot get the report of his death confirmed. Can you tell us where you read this? Last I heard his was in an elderly home in Palm Springs, USA and rather ill.
  9. Folks, hold your horses. This is a SM show and I only invite people that SM asks me too (if they do not have access to him). I've made several suggestions to SM, but it's their call. That said, yes I have access to Michael Leader, Michael Culver and several others mentioned here. Not Burnell Tucker though, sorry.
  10. I have friends in the States who send me sharpies. I believe they are not available in Europe. I'm not sure.
  11. Hey Mazzic, there are even some there that even I haven't seen. They are absolutely great.
  12. I don't think they will (even though I too think it's a great idea). It's just not that kind of convention, I'm afraid.
  13. Hey, indulge me. I had to sleep on the couch for a night for kissing Carrie, so...
  14. Yes, I'm meeting him in person soon. E-mail me for details at bounty.hunter@skynet.be and I'll send you the details.
  15. Not that I am aware of, sorry. I'm still awaiting news from my final ESB-contact...
  16. Derek just told me that he's read that! It gave him a good laugh, but he promised he wouldn't be getting a new hip. Something to talk about when we meet up with him. Hey, Mazzic, Derek thinks you are a nice guy. Guess he doesn't really know you yet, eh? Derek, if you read this, I'm just kidding. Mazzic and I go way back...
  17. No, no, that was my mistake. I helped the webmaster with the ED website and put Cantina Patron instead of Trinto Duaba. I'll have it changed - sorry for the confusion.
  18. I learned all my tricks from Mazzic. He's the graphics wizard in my book! Most of my LOTR collection is on Mazzic's designs. He designed the photo for the very first signing I did with Orli (it was her very first signing as well!). We met her this weekend and she is still using that image and says it's very popular! Nuff said!
  19. What are friends for, mate? Hard to believe it's almost been two years already...
  20. Not bad, my friend. After Simon Williamson and Kiran Shah this weekend I'm at 88! Empire Day will push me past 100!
  21. I remember you telling me that... Man, I would have been so pissed... It's a good thing that Richard is such a nice bloke. Let's face it, Mazzic, we've had some great times with some of these actors at our shows, right? (yeah, that's right, you all, Mazzic and I go way back... We've been visiting and co-organising signings and conventions for a couple of years now). And Mazzic is the best when it comes to designing 'home-made' photos that you'll not find anywhere else.
  22. ... hit ourselves over the head for spending tons of money on them...
  23. I've seen the Kurtz/Joiner archive in Germany a couple years back (Hamburg). It was phenomenal!
