  1. Heya, I can't really find out the info I'd like out the site. What does the £78 ticket include? Do we get a free autograph with each guest on a personal item, like at other cons by other companies of similiar structure? I'm just wondering what I'd be paying for. Cheers guys, had a great time at Gmex :) XO O
  2. I live near Doncaster, but was staying at my best friend's house in Wirral over the weekend. We drove from Meols to Manchester. Took us bloody ages to find GMex, but getting to Manchester itself was as easy as can be, and getting back was even easier. :)
  3. Already posted this in another thread, but I didn't see this topic and I think it's relevant here! By about 3pm on Saturday I was sat at the side of the hall opening a box of trading cards I bought on one of the stalls. A tall, dark, sexy (I'm getting carried away here but I can't help it) man came up to me and just kinda staed at me. I stared right back at him, in a , "Err, hello random?" way, and then he smiled and said hey. I was like, "Um, hello." He asked me if I'd pulled anything good, and I was like, "Yeah, a Vinnie Jones autograph which is cool." He said, "Vinnie Jones, nice one man. Good luck, see ya later." I was like, "Ok... um, bye." When I looked up at the big photo billboards of the guests hanging above the autograph tables, I realised it was Jason Mamoa. Melt! I need to start watching Stargate now. Haha!

Other than my random and accidental conversation with sexy Stargate man, I met Adrian Pasdar who was a proper gentleman. So, so nice in the photoshoot, and when I went to go and get his autograph he remembered me. He instigated a hand shake which I thought was really polite and shows how down to earth and happy to meet fans he is. A HUGE thank you goes out to Showmasters for getting such lovely guests, Adrian in particular, and for putting on a truly fab show this weekend. Cheers guys! Olly
  5. Will this list of guests and prices be updated soon with the new additions? Or is there already a new update posted somewhere else? Thanks. :)
  6. Heroes people! Any of the Heroes guests from LFACC and the MK Collectormania as I missed them both. HEROES.
  7. LEGEND. You've made my day! Thank God for more Heroes guests
  8. Hey guys, You've got some AWESOME Heroes guests for C12. Kudos! Is there any chance that the ratio of Heroes guests will even out between C12 and GMex? I'm up north and can't make MK but I'd die to see some more Heroes guests at GMex to even the score. Is there a chance of that happening, or am I just wishfully dreaming? Cheers, XO O. :)
  9. Star Trek has nothing to do with him bagging theater productions. Stewart was a classically trained actor by the Royal Shakespeare Academy (RSC along with Ian McKellan) way before 1987 when he landed Picard. My apologies; I shouldn't have made an uneducated assumption. :) Just wanted to say that I'm a big fan of Patrick Stewart; granted, only of X-Men fame, but I think he's a very talented man. The say goes for Sir Ian; I met him in Lincoln when he was filming The Da Vinci Code. He was absolutely lovely. Although that reminds me, I have a little story about personalising. I met Sir Ian and he signed my bag for me. I asked him if he could please make it out to 'Olly' (my name, obviously) and he said, "Well I don't really need to do I Olly, I'm sure we'll both remember your own name!" I smiled and thanked him very much for the autograph and said it was a pleasure. He didn't really want to personalise for me. At the end of the day, I had nothing to sign, handed him a £20 Topman shoulder bag I'd bought that day, and he signed it, plus made a nice comment about remembering my name. He wasn't rude, and I completely respect his wishes. Just thought I'd put that story out there. :) Olly
  10. It's very difficult, obviously I love all three, but I do love it if an actor agrees to a photograph. My memory is awful, especially when I'm talking to someone I respect and admire- the chat tends to be a blur (intellectual at the time, but a blur about 10 seconds afterwards) so the photograph is a lovely reminder for myself. :)
