If it's not personalised, I may as well buy from a dealer..?

But then the next time you go and when you get to the person all they have left is a group shot (say 5 people). So you get that signed. You might already have two of other four on a different photo. But then two other people on the group shot also do a signing. Do you start another photo, or carry on the same one? Then the ones you've already met turn up again. You don't need them, but its nice to complete the set. Or in the case of Star Wars if you have posters how do you decide which to get signed by one person? 1) Or you buy a £2 profile photo from the many stands at these events rather than pay the £10 to start a brand new group shot. 2) Carry on the same one if I'm understanding you correctly. 3) As for the Star Wars Sophie's Choice question..............you got me you win lol -

Fan: pays more. Dealer selling online to make a profit: pays less Yeah that makes sense. The whole point of personalisation (I thought) was to stop the dealers taking up spots in the queue and it also helped the guest now that this stuff wasn't going up on ebay an hour later. With the greatest of respect to fellow boardies I don't understand getting multiple items signed. I understand a picture that can be framed and an item from your collection, but more than that just seems excessive and must take away the uniqueness of it all. Maybe I'm missing something but I just don't get it. -
That's not a no lol I'm weighing up the Tom Sizemore sig. I have a lovely Saving Private Ryan Special Edition VHS box. Well I may still end up getting one if it was £50, the advantage to that price being that I don't think many others would queue so there may be time for a chat lol. Obviously Showmasters if you see this, don't think about changing the price to that . I reckon we've got another four years before they hit £50 lol

And with that thinking the prices will continue to go up. Sadly £20 was my breaking point. What's yours?

Nicky's patented "Who was that fit girl?' thread

This girl? It was actually very impressive costume, it would have made Uma Thurman jealous Woah she is stunning. Makes me start to wish I'd gone now. -

Certainly did, particularly Cassandra, Pete and Krytie TV. And the finale was epic too. Are you sure we're not talking about different shows? The Crimson Short one: Series 8 (eight) Just watched the new one. Genius! Utter genius! -

I thought Season 8 was absolute **** - I can understand why they'd want to ignore it. Don't worry. We'll rent some space in a church basement and talk you down Lol - are you serious? You really found Season 8 funny?? It was like watching a sniper setting up in a school clock tower. Certainly did, particularly Cassandra, Pete and Krytie TV. And the finale was epic too. -

Doug Naylor was involved in Series 8 and to ignore it would be a bad thing because it was really funny. -
Clearly he's right for the role but I do question why they've decided to announce it so quickly.

It'll be an ethnic Doctor! No! It'll be a woman! No! It'll be an ethnic woman with a limp! No! It'll be a Dalek! No! It'll be a David Morrissey! No wait! I read somewhere that Moffat was looking for someone older because we've had two 'younger' Doctors in a row. It'll be Bill Nighy! It'll be Stephen Fry! It'll be ........ it'll be............. it's......a dude that looks like the dude from Twilight. Yaaaay He'll be fine it's just very unremarkable for a remarkable show.
