  1. It was just a query as much as anything else. In the Dudley Sutton thread it was noted by the organisers that DS would be £10 (see response six). http://showmastersonline.com/forums/index....&st=0
  2. Do the pre-order prices have any relation to the on-the-day prices? The reason I ask is that, I think, the prices for Dudley and George Baker are reversed on the pre-order (£10 and £15 respectively)...?
  3. I met her last night. She's looking forward to the event.
  4. Great fella too - met him last year outside the Globe theatre.
  5. I have thirty things he could sign - you tell me where I make a start with that lot? I certainly can't afford £300.
  6. It's about time Vaughn did another show. His biography is out so he could come over here and promote that. Worth noting that Robert Glenister is shortly in theatre so will be unlikely to attend CMM3.
  7. I was absolutely gutted as I travelled 400 miles specifically for Ivana , to find she had cancelled. I am therefore leaving my decision whether to come down to this event until I know for certain that whoever I want to meet is actually there.
  8. As I said I wouldnt know where to start. I would like to get it all signed, but at (presumably) £15 a go that's not going to happen. So I will save my money.
  9. Lovely addition, but I have so much for him to sign that I wouldnt know where to start. Depending on the price therefore (given that deals wont be allowed) I may give him a miss.
  10. His wife is very ill, so this is why he has withdrawn from Last of the Summer Wine, and public life in general. Doubt he would attend.
  11. Can I suggest Geoffrey Bayldon? Apparently he's retiring from public life this year, so this may be the last chance to get him to an event.
  12. There are so many possible themes which I would happily support by attending and purchasing autographs. Bond, Carry On (guests who had speaking roles!), New Tricks, Hustle, Spooks, Survivors (new and old), The Avengers, The Prisoner, Man in a Suitcase (Richard Bradford), Knight Rider, The A Team, Streethawk, Columbo, CHiPs, Dukes of Hazzard, Minder, Sweeney, Dempsey and Makepeace, The Professionals, Mission Impossible, The Power Game (Barbara Murray and many others), Public Eye (Alfred Burke), anyone who headlined a British film in the fifties to the seventies....
  13. Everyone has done "it"....you mean to tell me you havn't? I'm just worried that if he does "it" a lot, how is he going to last a full day of signing... Will he be having frequent "breaks"....?
  14. well i do not know the dates of the other organisers' event as they have not been published yet but i did ask at the NEC and they said there was no event on like our event on that weekend so can i ask you how you know it is on as there is nothing out there saying this ? jason Their dates have been published for some time now (on their website), which I can't provide a link to, of course.
  15. Yes, it will be interesting. Regardless of whether Showmasters bury their heads in the sand about events run by rival organisations (quote "there in no other event on that weekend that is like the events we run "), the fact that there are now two events in the same complex over the same weekend will be potentially fatal to them both. There are only so many guests (paying and celebrity) and dealers to go around.
  16. Dickie Dreyfuss is starring at the Old Vic in January.
  17. SM and Autographica are in a commercial world, so have to expect to make a loss on commercial enterprises from time to time - particularly at the moment.
  18. How about an Airwolf reunion - Jan Michael Vincent (highly unlikely, but I can hope!), Alex Cord, Jean Bruce Scott and Deborah Pratt, and creator Donald P Bellisario.
  19. But that didnt happen - people were able to buy autographs from the guests without having to show their passes.
  20. Hello Thanks for another interesting event - although it's a shame so many people cancelled on the Sunday at the last minute. A comment/plea for the next event. Please can you sort out the security. I'm aware of a number of people who get into the events for free, by just walking into the event. Please can you ensure that people are on the door to check tickets etc. It's grossly unfair to those of us who pay good money to get in, if others are allowed to get in for free.
  21. I'll be able to pass on to him the wishes of a fellow actor then.
  22. If you're going to have a Bond theme, once every two years (approx) is the best time to do it - when the latest Bond film comes out!
  23. Twas the Cinema Store. That was where I met him too.
