Hey matey - not sure about Glasgow at the minute. I know we won't be at CM:London though. It's too close to Chevron for the rest of the guys (they're big SG fans). Next big one that's looking likely will be CM:16 next May for me...

Hey Spidey - Nice to know who you actually are on here after meeting you at CM:15 and at LFCC on Sunday (I'm one of the Mandalorians who were with Star Warriors, we met you at both cons). BTW at CM:15 were you the Batman hanging around with the Joker on the Sunday (the Joker was on his own on the Saturday)?

I've emailed this as well, but as others are getting a quicker update here I thought I would post here as well. I ordered 3 early bird sunday tickets, but in my envelope today I only received one. Will the others be arriving separately or am I best off just bringing that one ticket and order confirmation that I ordered 3 and getting in with the rest of my party that way? Thanks :) Synn

But surely having it in a shopping centre (even though it's on the small side) is good for both the guests AND dealers. If it's moved away from where the general public is, then the only people that turn up will be the people specifically going, which in turn could cost dealers money and in turn may result in fewer dealers turning up. Personally, I went to CM14 (which was my first con ever) to meet some friends, troop in costume, try and help raise some money for charity and look and shop around the dealers tables. There were no guests there that I was bothered about seeing, I was there mainly for the dealers and to help with charity. This will suffer as there will be fewer people around.

Well you definitely won't get passing trade at a dedicated stadium. The only people there will be people who WANT to see guests or see the dealers.You get passing trade at the MK centre from shoppers that benefits the guests AND the dealers. It also assists for groups doing fund raising who turn up for the convention as well. Anyway, that's enough of this thread hijack, my main concern about CM:Manchester was that it would be too close to the now rescheduled CM15 in MK

With CM15 being announced as being in June (instead of March), and CM16 still probably next October, won't this clash with CM Manchester if that's supposed to be happening in the summer? Won't they be too close together (and whoever thought of moving CM from the MK centre to the Dons stadium must be out of their mind... all that passing trade for the dealers that will be lost with no shoppers in the vincinity).
