I'd see him again if he were to be announced (which isn't going to happen) although to back up what others have said, he was very weird at Collectormania.

He's more in to his music and his band now. He was here back end of last year doing a couple of gigs, and I think one signing event. People have been asking for him for sometime now, but he's never been announced. Don't even know if Showmasters have approached him. They won't give us that sort of info.

I feel the current LFCC situation is symptomatic of the general con circuit decline both here and in the US. This is due to more factors than can be gone in to here. But the main ones are fairly obvious: A lack of guests who will do all day signing events. Organisers attracting the wrong audience. The wrong audience having silly expectations of what can be delivered in terms of guests. Organisers making events too large all in the name of profit. A global downturn in interest of the staple diet of these events ie sci-fi.

I reckon Showmasters need at least another 5 or 6 top draw guests plus more fillers otherwise they'll struggle to attract people. Anyone not going for Mulgrew or Perlman hasn't really got too much at the moment.

No one ever mentioned there would be 30 guests. Will probably be less given the lack of regular announcements and the time left to the event. I've counted only about 8 guests who will be popular. I don't consider the Blakes 7 lot to be individual guests.
