we get that twilight is the big thing at the moment, and i think that 3 stand alone conventions in one year would cover it, but there is a danger of alienating many others if the guest budget is spent on the same frachise . get one guest from twilight and they will still come. get 3 guests from twilight and dont book a lost guest because the budget cannot stand it and you could lose a whole fanbase. thats the point i was trying to illustrate... and the fact the movie sucked ...the book might be better, but after watching the film i am not going to find out.

i would rather not have any more twilight guests. there are already so many twilight events through the year, lets have one event dominated by guests from other movie and tv franchises that dont have events throughout the year and therefore get to meet different people. I would rather guests like Anthony Michael Hall and Shannon Doherty attend than ones constantly from the same average movie. Plus i imagine the twilight guest are milking it at the moment with high fee's, so why not wait until they are less popular and cheaper and get some more diverse guests. I know thats going to upset a few but i watched the twilight film and it sucked. i cant believe so many people get worked up over such an average film. if you want a decent vampire movie see The Lost Boys , it kicks twilight's ass.

just wondering if there are any plans for an auction at this event? it was such a high point to our day at lfcc and i know several of showmasters other events are having them ( halloweendon etc) . thanks err i didn't really put fabtastic on purpose ... the b is next to the n and i cant see where to change it.... i am not an 80's dj honest

good god the event is 3 months away ... what does it matter if the guest is anounced this week or next its looking like the best show all year so just get in the spirit and look forward to it

he was great, signed for my son and posed for pics. then while we were waiting for our auction peices he and ed were waiting for their talk and sat next to us and chatted about his current film in bulgaria( lake placid 2 type film with a giant croc) and what he does with all the props he's allowed to keep

i won the id4 spaceship part for £30 and was well happy. i f i 'd of known how much it was going to sell for i would have bid higher on the arachnophobia spider i got a certificate from the organisers ,but when i got home it said piece of enterprise, anyone know where i can contact someone to get another one that says id4 spaceship part

sports guest are always great, but what about other types of guests... we have had glamour models and they always seem popular also what about pop stars, surely there would be a market for showmasters to corner as i dont know of any such event elsewhere.

i know there are only a handful of guests announced so far but i think collectamania london has a better line up than lfcc already , with billy, robert and shannon it blows this event away

my son wants to go to this, but i am having to pick up a new van on saturday, i have to travel about 200 miles across country and wont have time to take him on saturday if i got us some tickets would we still be able to go on sunday and meet all the guests?

the venue. Yes the shopping centre was a bit crowded but the footy stadium was cold, and had no atmosphere. the dealer room was so packed you couldn't move and apart from the sports guests all together the others were that spaced out and enclosed it just felt odd and cold. was it to stop people taking photo's of people whom they were not getting signatures from ? that is half the fun, just because you cant get everyone's signature its still great to see them up close when you are getting others. i have only being going to these types of events for about a couple of years and am a relative newbie compared to most but have to say it ws the worst one i have been to so far. i thought the guest line up was the weakest ( yes i know everyones taste differs) but for wow factor it lacked household names. with the exception of mr nimoy and mr glennister ( who both seemed to have the sort of lunch breaks we would all kill for ) i still enjoyed meeting gordon banks and although his was the only sig i got it was still better than spending the day at home. i am really looking foward to november as billy dee williams is hopefully going to be there .i am not moaning for the sake of it and know that SM must work hard and dedicate a lot of time and money to their projects.... just an honest opinion

went today as really wanted to meet her and get a pic signed we bought years ago of her. asked at the booth where she was and was told that she popped in friday and then had to go as she had work on sat and sunday ??????SHOWMASTERS, IF YOU KNEW ON FRIDAY THAT SHE WAS ONLY GOING TO BE THERE 1 DAY AND IT WAS NOT EVEN THE BLOODY DAY ADVERTISED ON THE PRICES LIST , THEN WHY NOT SPEND 2 MINS AND LET PEOPLE WHO TRAVELLED 150 MILES ROUND TRIP AND 3 1/2 HOURS IN A CAR TO MEET HER KNOW . Yes i can imagine things are a bit hectic over the weekend but it wouldn't kill you or one of the many members of the team to put a little message to inform others if guests cancel. i dont mind guests cancelling as acting work is their lively hood but i think it stinks that nothing is mentioned.
