  1. Nick Frost went to LFCC in 2004 along with Simon Pegg so it won't be him.
  2. Bill Paxton! 10 years of going to Showmasters cons and he's the only one I ever request XD One day!
  3. Not really sure why there was such a build up for a repeat guest but good for Who fans, I guess. I suspect she will be very busy but I might try and meet her for Xenoblade as she was my favourite character in the game.
  4. Doctor Mordrid is always the first thing I think of when I see his name. Cool guest!
  5. Part of me is really hoping that it's someone I don't want to meet because I would like this con to be as mellow as it can be. On the other hand, I've been waiting for Bill Paxton to be announced for over 10 years and, with him now being in SHIELD, there's a slim possibility and I would lose it. In fact, any Marvel guest would be great *cough*ClarkGregg*cough*
  6. I'm disappointed I didn't meet him, now. I had a ticket at just below 300 and had seen the signs go from "no posed photos" to "no photos" and "personalisations only, no quotes" to "no personalisations" and assumed it had gone to the familiar conveyor belt signing system that popular guests sometimes get into so I didn't think it was worth the £35 if I wasn't going to get anything more than a signature and maybe a brief acknowledgement. Had these people been viewable and not secreted away behind barriers, then I may have been able to see that he was in fact chatting with people and I would have happily gone up, regardless of personalisations. Shame.
  7. Happy for anyone to say hi! I've been going to these for years but rarely interact with anyone outside of queues and I know there are a ton of awesome people here. This is me (on the left as I was sadly never in Back to the Future...): And I'll probably be in a pink "Go Petunias!" t-shirt. :)
  8. So many people I'd love it to be, mainly Bill Paxton (been waiting on him since forever!) But, seeing as Alex Winter is going, Keanu Reeves would be completely awesome. Not sure if he's been a much requested guest, though.
  9. Dude. Would definitely hotwire and steal get a picture with the Monkeemobile!
  10. I thought Wil Wheaton too, although I don't know that many people would class him as an 'amazing' guest. I would most certainly love to meet him though!
  11. I'm crossing my fingers for Bill Paxton...But then again, I always do with these announcements. The man covers so many genres, it could always be him, I have to be right sometime, no?
  12. I thought he was absolutely lovely, so genuine and friendly. He shook my hand when I went up for the auto and for the photo shoot and I asked him about what was happening with Yellow Submarine. I thought the talk was great, he was happy to talk about anything. I liked hearing that he had such good fun on The Princess Bride and his Andre stories. I was also in hysterics over the insane account of his experience with Randy Quaid on Days of Thunder! Someone asked if he'd been on the Saw ride in Thorpe Park and he said he'd been but because it was raining it was actually closed on the day! He spoke some about how he came to be in Saw and then coming back for Saw 3D. My memory really sucks, I know there were plenty of other questions but I'm having a mental block on them! But he seemed very chuffed to have people there to see him and was a great guest.
  13. Didn't get many but as there are no Cary pics yet... Cary's Talk: Cary Photoshoot: Michael Biehn: Tom Wopat:
  14. Oh my God, that is gonna be one looooong day just to see one guest if Cary's talk isn't until 4:30! Hopefully there will be plenty of stuff to keep me occupied (without me spending a fortune!)
  15. Going solely for Cary Elwes, got my photoshoot ticket today! No idea what to get signed as I like him in so many things but I think it's going to wind up being something Princess Bride related. May also meet Michael Biehn again if I get the opportunity.
  16. YES! Cary talk on Staurday! Shame I'll miss the Michael Biehn talk but I'll live :)
  17. akdlfjksdafg;adfgh!!!! It's been a long while since an announcement has made me hysterical but this has gone and done it! I've been on a Saw kick recently so this is awesome (Leigh Whannel plz?) and of course, he is Westley! I am truly over the moon with this, hope I can make it!
  18. we are working on it i am expecting a phone call soon from he we shall see jason Oh, wow! I have met Dean, Keeley and Philip but not Marshall so if you get him I think I would be a definite for attending this con!! And, as much as I absolutely hate his character in the show, I would love to meet Daniel Mays too. I think he did a fantastic job in this last season of A2A.
  19. Awesome announcement! Met him twice before at SM events and he has always been my favourite guest, really good with the fans and he has been fantastic in this series of Ashes so I will be meeting him again if I can make it.
  20. Michael Keaton Michael Madsen Michael Caine Well, he actually said "take the Micky" without the 'e' meaning it is blatantly Micky Dolenz of The Monkees! And I don't know about you but I would quite frankly be ecstatic if it was!
  21. Eli Roth please! I was on a plane with him for 10 hours but didn't realise it was him until I got home and so a Cannes interview with him a couple of days later! I knew I recognised him but couldn't place him. I asked him on MySpace if it was him to double check and he said yes, I should have come over and said hi as we had 10 hours to talk. So the way I figure it, that guy owes me 10 hours of talk time!!
  22. My money's still on Bill Paxton... SM, you're killing me here!
  23. Oh my God. If it was Bill Paxton I'd be there in a heartbeat. In fact, I'd leave now, just to make absolutely sure I got to meet him!
  24. Scott Bakula - "Nice to see you!" Jewel Staite - "Stay Shiny!" Chris Sarandon - "Prince Humperdink" Edward Furlong - Just "To Catherine" Keeley Hawes - "Lots of Love" And my favourite, Danny Trejo - "Thank You. We are Spy Kids together." I mentioned that sadly Spy Kids was probably one of my favourite films of his which he seemed to find amusing.
