  1. A serious grovel which needs to be solved for Christmas. A friend of mine has her photo on the C6 website and she would really like a copy of it. Are all the photos taken by the publicity crew or were some of them taken by forum members? She would really like a good size copy of it rather than the rather small one on the webpage so if anyone can help it would be really appreciated. Pwetty please feral
  2. I really did enjoy the costumes at Collectormania 6 and remember walking through the MK centre and wasn't sure I was at the right place as was at the opposite end with the shops until I saw an elf which was kind of weird and reassuring all at the same time
  3. JR .... I thought he was just R. However I could imagine him as an oil tycoon wearing a stetson but the american accent would be a bit dodgy to say the least.
  4. At least you haven't completely given up and not going.
  5. Mightymax I'd recommend you get to Birmingham and take the chiltern turbo train from Birmingham Moorside or Snowhill train stations. It will take you straight to Wembley stadium train station and it should be a short walk from there. The trains are comfy and clean and I'm not a trainspotter Just make sure you get one that stops at Wembley Stadium as not all of them do and you may need to change train at High Wycombe or Beaconsfield to make sure you get one. Hope you have a good time. Don't know if I'll be going yet.
  6. I thought meeting Richard Hatch would be the closest I'd ever get to being a Bond Girl (round about way but in Battlestar Galactica he was married to Jane Seymour who was Solitaire for any of those that didn't know) but now that you're asking Sean Bean would be very nice ... I remember him from Lady Chatterleys Lover (the scoundrel) oh and Begbie would be nice too
  7. Not meaning to be a stirrer but I'm sure I read that some ppl had fallen out with others so weren't appearing in the next series so would they be likely to turn up?!?
  8. There were goody bags?!? Any chance of getting one posted to me?
  9. Now thats just greedy wanting everyone ... so maybe we could let Jonathan Frakes slide seeing as hes at the LFACC and I hadn't noticed that before my previous post
  10. Seeing as Jonathan Frakes was the director I think it would be rude not to invite him as well
  11. Would this include the A-team as well considering some of the things they came up with were laughable or would they be better in a section called action-adventure. Please can we have a comedy section (pulls big eyed face like Puss in Boots in Shrek)
  12. BA was one of the few dolls my folks did buy me and I loved it to bits but it had a squishy head ... I wonder if its like that in real life?!? Not that I'm going to try ... he'd still scare me if he did a snarl
  13. Oh t'would be great for CM to have the trio be it over 2 different ones ... its a shame the quartet shall never be reunited though unless in another life not that I'm egging that on *gulp*. Pwetty pwease can we have Mr T at CM7, he's my hero and I need to know if he still has all that bling?
  14. It was my first Collectormania and to be honest I fely quite daunted by turning up at what I perceived to be a SciFi event but was reassured by the knowledge that there were shops nearby that if it all became too much I could escape to them. Truth of the matter is that I found out that it was an event with alot of people with the same interest just having a good time but I must admit at the times that it became really busy the shops did get visited and there was plenty of choice of beverages and food at normal prices so the MK centre really does have its benefits in getting new people turning up and making it cheaper to attend rather than being in a venue like the NEC which I guess inflates their prices and charge entry ... I don't know ... I've never been to another event like it. Also Milton Keynes is easy to get to but had they charged entry I think I would have been put off attending ... makes it seem to be for much more die hard fans if you have to pay to enter the venue. Would Costa consider removing their stand in the hall ... I know its prime space for them but they must make a fortune from the event themselves so is it too much to ask for a little good will on their behalf. Having the higher profile guests down the sides of John Lewis as very few people were exiting that way would be good like they did with Carrie Fisher as more passersby are likely to gawp at them and cause congestion should they be elsewhere in the hall. Of my group none of us felt hassled or rushed and we had a lazy few days and but had always intended of making a weekend of it. I think if we tried to get it all done in one day it would have been a different story but thats people's choice. I'm definitely interested now in going to CM7 (I haven't been put off) and think that it can only improve with some of the suggestions here put into action and I might even consider going to the LF&CC just through gaining my confidence from CM6. Great job done by all helpers and look forward to seeing you in April.
  15. My faves that I met have to be Dirk, Dwight and Richard Hatch. Dirk was the first I met and I was painfully shy but he tried his best in trying to bring me out of my shell and along with my mate's help succeeded. My mate never laughed so much at me. As for Dwight he was considerate and kind, even posed for photos and when the batteries died on the camera for my mate insisted that she got some replcements and would let her jump the queue to get her photo with him. I guess what was best about Dirk and Dwight was the banter between them on the occassions I met them and it wasn't anything private ... you were included in it. Richard Hatch was a star, took time to talk to everyone and had a true passion about BSG and happy to pose for photos. A genuine and warm friendly guy. My mate went and met Adam Busch and he was so excited about having met 'Flash' that he just yabbered away so naturally and recognised her at his gig in Manchester a few days later. They're all gents as far as I'm concerned.
