  1. I know you cannot announce the photoshoot times until nearer the time, but that does make buying entry tickets potentially hazardous. I wanted to get a joint photoshoot with Amanda Tapping and Michael Shanks, and with William B. Davis on Saturday, but will be getting standard entry tickets. If I did that, could I have some kind of reassurance that their photoshoot would not start until a while after 11am? Thanks
  2. Torri was just amazing; she was so friendly and kind, and we had a lovely chat. I wish I had bought a photoshoot with her. I hope Showmasters can get her back for another event at some point.
  3. Saturday was very busy, but I've heard it was quieter today. I expect it will have less people on Monday because it can be more troublesome travelling on a Bank Holiday Monday. There were a lot of stalls, although thee was not much there that interested me. It depends on what you're looking for. Most of the dealers are ones who have been there every year - 2 stalls selling pins/badges, a few stalls selling trading cards, a stall selling mugs & coasters, a beanie baby stall, tons of autograph/photo stalls, a few craft stalls, etc. Just look at the guest list to see who will be there tomorrow and see if there is anyone you want to meet.
  4. Fear not. I gather that, due to a small admin hiccup, the Malcolm McDowell tickets started at 400. So you will have had the 85th ticket. Does anyone know if the same thing happened with Charles Dance? A friend got ticket number 520 after going straight to him as the doors opened. It was. The person controlling the queue told me that she accidentally started handing out tickets backwards. I was given 162 when he was on 400-something. I never got a chance to see him. agreed I thought it was busier last year to be honest but then I had a lot more guests to meet last year, so maybe that influences my opinion. At least the weather was decent this year. It wasn't the number of guests I had to meet that was the problem, but the amount of people walking around, especially in the dealers' area.
  5. I got there at 11am and she had an open queue; I saw her really quickly.
  6. It was super bust today; far more so than I remember it being in previous years. It did take the enjoyment out of browsing the stalls, but can't be helped. I loved meeting all the guests. Chris Judge was chummy as usual, and Spice Williams & Torri Higginson were absolutely lovely. I was also astounded that Gillian had an open queue; I didn't get there until 11am, and was expecting that I was going to be way back with a high virtual ticket number, but I got in straight away. Thanks for organising the event, Showmasters.
  7. I watched it on iplayer. Her performance was great as always, but the show itself did not interest me.
  8. Will never get bored of meeting him :)
  9. Thanks, it's just that I made my order a week ago, and I didn't know if it was because of the holidays, or because they aren't sent out immediately.
  10. Do you know if the vouchers are dispatched right away, or do we have to wait in batches like they do with tickets?
  11. Thanks, because I was wondering how queuing and seating arrangements would work when other people have bought advanced tickets.
  12. That's what I'd like to know. I'd also like to ask about spending them on talks or autographs. These tickets are usually bought in advance online and numbered for seating/queuing purposes. Are these vouchers used as the equivalent and we just line up and hand them over, or is there some kind of code on them that you redeem online when buying the tickets in advance?
  13. Great. Is there a use by date? Also, if you get a £20 gift voucher and an autograph is £15, will you get a £5 voucher/cash back?
  14. The crew were so helpful and friendly this year. Thanks for all your hard work.
