Any information that you put on here that can be easily used to find a competitors event will be removed. Dates, locations and especially the name can all be typed into Google easily and can lead you to the competitors site. This forum is for Showmasters events. Anything that mentions competitors is in breach of the forum regulations set by Showmasters, so that's why your post would've disappeared. I can understand that SM wont allow the competition to be discussed. That is fair enough on the SM forum but the original point of "WON'T IT ASPLIT THE CUSTOMERS/DEALERS" is a valid one. I have spoken to several dealers recently who have said that they can not afford to be at the Hilton instead of the NEC.

Hiya, I attended both days of the show and despite everything I really enjoyed it. Birk Dedendict was really cool and finally decided to say hi to Kenny B. Both were very friendly and very cool. Sports guys were fantatic although Mr Bruno may have taken one punch to many to head during his fantastic career. My only suggestion would be that the hall was very quiet, some background music may have upped the atmosphere. Thanks SM for the hard work, even if it does not always pay off. C U Again Zippy.

Ok, The Zippy is back. Since the cancellation of the Better Than Life Red Dwarf Convention I have bit my tounge and been quiet. I am as disappointed as everyone else about all the cancellations especially taking into account earlier comments from SM about 'BIG NAMES'. But the last comment is a bit rough bearing in mind recent events. I suppoose SM try their best and we get what the best they can provide. Annoying as it may be. I appreciate that some people hava to arrange time off (I am one of them and it is unpaid) but surely there will come a time where SM get sick and tired of the sarcy comments, jibes and insults. Jason, if you can't believe I am defending you, all I wanted with BTL was your response and I got it. so thanks for that and I got your back.

Depends what shows you like as to whether you get a gold pass or not. All I am trying to do is make the point that if by some amazing miracle, sm decide to do what they said they would do and bring in some RD guests, I have lost the oppurtunity to get a gold pass which I probably would have done. I am a huge fan of the show but have only just got into this side of it. Sorry if you have a superiority complex or if I seem uneducated in all this cr@p but I probably would have got the gold. Yes.

But seriously though, it's the same with any guests - you run the risk of waiting for ones you do like to be announced only for the Gold Passes to sell out before that happens. Very true, but as you can see from my first post, RD fans were told 2 weeks ago that guests would be announced and as usual, NOTHING???????????????????????????

No, I did not buy a ticket because I do not have faith in the organisers and thir ability to supply the guests that I want. Now that the gold tickets are no longer available, I am still annoyed that 2 weeks after we were told that RD guests would be LFCC, no announcement has been made and if any are forthcoming, I have lost the ability to get a gold tickets. I hope this is now clear enough for everyone. If not I can put it in words of one syllable.

I think he was just trying to be clever and point out the significance of the two colours for the sake of having a witty thread title. The thing is though there's still plenty of time for RD guests to be announced. There is plenty of time for RD guests, but now if there any announced, I can not get a gold ticket for the event. Some people were actually annoyed by the last minute cancellation of BTL and the total lack of communications from SM. So if it is ok with you, I am trying to get something from the people that run this site.

Bearing in mind that BTL was meant to be this weekend and some people are upset by it's cancellation. An announcement would be well received about now!!!!!!!!!
